http://news.gather.com/viewArticle.acti ... 4978310189Sarah Palin may just have gained a few more fans. The former Alaska governor appeared on the Fox Business Channel on Wednesday to discuss her position on marijuana. She says she's against legalization because it might "encourage our young people to think that it was OK to go ahead and use it." However, she has an entirely different opinion on using it in the privacy of one's home. Palin said, "If somebody's gonna to smoke a joint in their house and not do anybody any harm, then perhaps there are other things our cops should be looking at to engage in and try to clean up some of the other problems we have in society."
Years ago, Palin had even admitted to smoking pot in Alaska where it's legal. I must say, I'm quite surprised she admitted to this. Even Bill Clinton said he didn't inhale! It makes you wonder though if she's lighting up a bong with Todd while they're hanging out in their living room. Would her supporters approve if she did?
What do you think of Sarah Palin's stance on not legalizing marijuana? Do you agree with Palin that authorities shouldn't bother people for smoking weed in their home?
Sarah Palin smoked pot...
Sarah Palin smoked pot...

Re: Sarah Palin smoked pot...
First thing that popped into my head: Proof that smoking cannabis kills braincells!!
I think Palin is a joke, when listening to some of her speeches its clear she's nowhere near intelligent enough to lead a country (that has never stopped others of course).
But I'm glad she went public about this. Its quite an interesting strategy.... one one hand, she's risking losing some conservatives. On the other, she could gain a whole new (and critically, younger) group of supporters. It could trigger a pro-Palin wave from the underground. I can imagine many young people supporting her in an ironic way, precisely because she was so uncool before.
My guess is, she has seen the legalization steamroller coming and decided to jump on the bandwagon early!
Whoah, I had no idea weed was legal in Alaska, is that true?!?Boner wrote: Years ago, Palin had even admitted to smoking pot in Alaska where it's legal.
