Racism in Stockholm

I have a question for anyone who has/is living/been to Stockholm. I've heard and read of racism in Sweden, especially in Stockholm towards foreigners (especially Arabs and Blacks). Not hate crimes, but just under-the-breath kind of stuff, and rejection from nightclubs and the like. Does this really happen?

The reason I ask is because I am going there for 5 nights in July, and one of my friends is Sudanese. Obviously I wouldn't want him being subjected to that kind of behavior towards him. We're also there midweek, and I hear the nightlife isn't that lively?

i have not noticed this during my visits to stockholm so far. but actually i have seen foreighners being refused at doors in most countries. especially in the netherlands they are quite racist at the door.
