Feds n Heads is my all time favorite board game. Been playing it for over 30 years and never tire of it. Everyone I have introduced it to, loves it as well.

It's A RAID! is also lots of fun, especially if you play with weed.

Deluxe Weed is also a fun cannabis card game.

Main stream games I like are Stratego, Battleship, Clue, Risk & Backgammon. I've had many many hours of fun playing these games. Good topic, Rollup. :D

Subbuteo 'flick to kick' Table Football
Create your own football tournament (where the minnows can whup the big names).
Also fun when your pet cat leaps on the pitch chasing the ball and wrecks your last minute World Cup Final winning shot at goal. :x

Its a card based fantasy game right ?
Always sounded pretty cool to me.
I used to play Dungeons and Dragons back in the late 70s early 80s, used to love it, spent all my money on books and modules, lead figures so i can relate i think.
More like card-based strategy than fantasy. There's absolutely no role-playing or storytelling involved, so it can't really be compared to D&D. It is as versatile of a game though, with limitless combos and scenarios. And unlike D&D, you can actually earn a part-time living with Magic if you're good enough.

Talking of old table games, anyone messed around with a ouija board?
I have with lots of different people and it's very strange stuff I can't explain.

Arkham Horror: Massive Co-operative boardgame set in the wolrd of H-P-Lovecraft Cthulhu Novels.

Twilight Struggle: Two player wargame that covers the whole cold war. Space race, nuclear threat and everything that happens in the world. Soviets vs USA on this one. Very heavy, takes hours to play but massive fun.

some lighter ones are

Stoner Fluxx: Super easy to learn, there is 2 rules: draw one and play one. A cardgame that has all the rules printed on the cards.

I am a boardgame maniac ^^ Love them heavy, love them light, love them all day and night :D
