Server Upgrade

Post by slimline »

Hi All,

The present server has suffered from running slow and some down time. I have upgraded the server with more memory, hopefully this should speed up the forum and do away with the problems we have experienced. I would appreciate some feedback as to whether this has made any difference.

The present server is rented. I have considered upgrading to a more powerful rented server. The continued rental cost is prohibitive, so I have decided to build a new server from scratch, This I hope to install this in the near future.

Regards

Pete

thanks again peter for all your work on keeping the forum alive (and maybe now a bit faster too) ... it's really great entertainment and something which deserves support

Cheers Slimline, a grateful tenner from me too.

Keep well, Blue Skies. Spider
