Download it from the start and stick with it, I started it twice because I wasn't sold initially.

He's a serial killer but he only kills bad guys but theres so much more to the whole story.

To be honest Dexter is a fucking crazy bastard. I mean the way he dispatches his cases with his cold, emotionless demeanor but which he secretly enjoys, then dumps them at the same place on his "fishing trips" and is then able to slip back into life in the blink of an eye. He's not a hero or anything but does have belief in himself.
His job is the ultimate cover as well as his separate relationships but his naivety in certain social situations is hilarious.

I think the show is genius and I've loved it from the start.

This thread is great, Boner! Just now saw it for the first time and Dexter is the only show I'm addicted to - thank God for On Demand.

Geeky guy is definitely up to something, have suspected him from the beginning... he was a little too eager to help. So it looks like he got the blonde chick to steal the hand? I seem to remember creepy fingernails being painted on the hand geek boy was putting in the box from past episodes but can't remember what that was about.

Must say, didn't see Debra having the dream about Dexter coming...

Actually those two were married in real life until recently, just a little trivia.
