The best I can manage in the morning is a cup of tea then 1 or 2 coffees, but forget eating a single thing with it and a normal work day for me is not eating anything until around 6 in the evening which all works fine for me personally, especially hot summer days. The secret for me is to keep hydrated with water throughout the day and not eat food to fill the void.

im the same but be careful witht he coffee onan empty stomach..to much and in my experience its ulcer city.

I hear you man. There's a network of coffeeshops in the UK called Costa. They are awesome and never had better coffee anywhere else and I've had a few in other places, but can only usually manage just 1 of these medium sized cups. It makes you hyper and wide-eyed but too many and it's an overkill plus too much coffee can act as a diuretic and all strong coffees should be followed by water as a result, imho.

sometimes i like a good latte or cappacino in the morning. i wont go to starbucks and pay $4.75 for it though. Tullys is cheaper and so are the mom and pop expresso carts, but nothings as cheap as making it at home in my expresso maker. just got some new syrups too. if im really tired..or pulling an all nighter or packing all night for a trip..i just fire it up..throw 2-4 shots of expresso in there and smoke a sativa and im for a few hrs and good to go. havent tried costa seen it over there. maybe been to one called neros?

As a kid, I used to have either Kellogs Frosties (Frosted Flakes, I think in the States), or Shreddies...

When I went to America for the first time in 1998 and visited a Walmart, I could not believe how many breakfast cereals were there! There were probably two huge and full aisles of cereals - back in the UK, that would have been the size of the whole store! I had never before nor since, seen such a massive selection...

Nowadays, I can't even remember the last time I bought cereal! If it's on offer at a hotel breakfast buffet, no problem... so long as it doesn't have nuts. I don't do nuts.

thats the norm. my local qfc,Safeway,walmart, top foods, fred meyer,albertsons, etc all have massive cereal isles. usually near the candy/chocolate isle in the stores near me.

Don't get me wrong cantona, our supermarkets have a pretty good range on show, but this was just on a MEGA scale. I had never seen anything like a Walmart before - even the big Sainsburys down the road from me, where I do most of my grocery shopping, is like a corner shop compared to this!

You could have put the whole of my supermarket into the top lefthand corner of this place!

My american friend who took me there looked quite amused by my reaction as I wandered up and down the cereals section like a small child going shopping for the very first time... It was Grrr-reat!

we've got 2 walmarts in my town for some reason. one is just a reg walmart and the other is a "super center". the super center i kinda refuse to go to because its just way to big and is a pain in the ass. the store itself..in my estimation is the size of 3-5 football pitches. and its a pain because when i have a grocery list one item maybe on one end of the store and the others may be on the other end. for that reason and the fact that i always encounter rude pushy people there i avoid it like the plague haha.

i got 1of the biggest tescos in the uk up the road from me, purley.
problem with it is its full to the brim with do as u likeys,
im a snob, waitrose all the way

where abouts is that then? i thought the biggest tesco was close to me? leeds/seacroft

and we have Asda/Walmart super centres, rather large stores with 2 floors, 1 dedicated to food, the other one clothes,electrical,cafe etc... and a McDonalds inside lol!!!
