Cheers for the heads-up. Wanted to watch this when I saw it advertised, but forgot since then...

Just checked the TV guide and this appears to start on Monday 2nd August.

if they wana call it a war well it was lost a long long time ago,I read an article today that said english gangsters are at the helm of a 40 billion pound empire with links to latin america & the italian/russian mafia`s! + they are getting younger & younger as well,You only have to look at mexico to know they (cops) are NEVER gona arrest there way out of this! things are only getting worse for this world sadly.

I watched it, it was okay imo, I didn't know that Edinburgh was the drugs capital of Europe

Prof Nutt spoke most sense especially about cannabis use, would have liked to hear a bit more from him, there was one guy can't remember who he was possibly an academic of sorts who just regurgitated the usual homogeneous crap about drug use. The programme did give the impression that there is a slow tide of change regarding how drugs should be regulated and acknowledged the Misue of Drugs Act is pretty much a sham, but the 'powerful' in society are still too afraid to come forward and acknowledge this. Sorry to those who have still to watch this, this post did not mean to be summary rant of the programme.

Neither did i,None of my mates touch that s**t anyways! & the place where the laddies where kicking the ball is called muirhouse! its a dump like,Ps i would like to know where all the gun crime is! you get the odd shooting here & there but its not kabul

,I read the evening news & the scotsman most days & i hardly see anything like that! its more stabbings if anything,Oh i tell a lie! 1 gypsy family shot at another down muirhouse way about 6 years ago but thats all i can remember there,& 99% of the smack smuggled to scotland gets threw? well whos fault is that then? were paying enough in taxes & s**t,With hundreds of miles of coastline & an open border what the f**k did they expect,I personaly know a guy from muirhouse & hes got a a wife/kids & more importantly a JOB,& People taking alloy cleaner & plant food? i rest my case.

KingDoc there has been a hellavalot of shootings lately in Edinburgh , Inch, broomie ,gilmerton and guns gettin found etc ! but yeah there has been loads

That woman said all the gun crime? ive only heard of one shooting in muirhouse & it was like 5-6 years ago now! if you know any better i am all ears man

,Not that i even go near any of those places anyways! & 70% of all high rises are drug users? who compiled these figures? & how do you define a drug user anyways?,A hash head? grannies that are on a so called depression "script" from the doctor? or simply a raging coke or smack head?,70% of all tennants are not smackheads! lol there simply not enough money in a place like that to support a ratio like 70%,& When the cops did raid a couple of houses they only find 1 tenner bag & some shitbar! that doesnt look like a two headed smack monster/ring to me, Look at the place! they dont look like they have 2 pennys to rub together so its hardly the lifestyle of a drug lord or even the gansta life is it?,Not that i am sticking up for the junkies either! they make my skill crawl & i do my upmost to keep away from them in all facets of my life! ie the bank Q or the bus stop & so on,But yea it makes our city look bad! were not all junkies man,& 70% of the people ive ever met from the estates threw work/football or whatever arnt junkies! maybe i am lucky but i can only speak for myself

I never watched the programme but as i say loads o shooting lately , that Igoe jus got jailed for shootin that martin boy , there was a huge operation in the inch not long ago after a shooting/shootings , its been all over the Evening News , Scotland today etc its all to do wi the peruvian !! yeah there aint that many jakes about Edinburgh and as you say alot of schemes have a shit load of hard workin normal citizens/law abiding
