Breakfast

Post by Rez »

I must get this apoligy (sp) in early so, sorry for the power posting this week I'm off work and bored shitless...

Don't hate me just ignore me... or read on... :?

Today was started with a freshly ground and brewed coffee with a nice 50/50 mix with frothed milk.

I then sliced some mushrooms, tomatoes and whisked up 3 eggs. Mushrooms browned the eggs go in, eggs scrambled, the tomatoes are "heated"... all on a plate with a dollop of brown sauce... washed down with 1/2 pint (300ml) of Swchepps Original Leo-man-aaaaaiiiiiidddddee with two slices of lemon and a squeeze of juice and I'm good to go !!!

Well I had a nice pipe of freshness (picked it up last night) which really got me a trippin'... never done shrooms, enjoy the highs and stones of the bud too much... I do like other "drugs" which go well with a toke... but that's a topic to be discussed by PM ONLY

I understand perfectly your reasons for the various posts/new topics. The vast majority of my posts were made while planning a trip to Amsterdam and getting all the necessary info. You are certainly putting a lot of effort into the planning at such an early stage (nothing wrong there) but you also take the opportunity to share your opinions about most every kind of subject with those who choose to peruse this forum (nothing wrong there).

Nothing wrong anywhere infact.

So keep going, and please no more pics of delicious brekkies like that. I get cereal and some milk to go with it and that's that. (nothing wrong there)

Traditional Full English Breakfast would normally be at a weekend, usually a Sunday but a few have been spotted on the ocasional Saturday in my house... and it's not every weekend either, keeps it a bit special that way. And yes, I do still go to my local cafe whenever the fancy takes me and I get my breakfast cooked to order... Bacon = well done, Eggs = yolk runny, but no white snot, Mushrooms = thinly sliced, well done.

Any guests that stay overnight at my house will be served a Breakin_8_ed feast consisting of:

1: Eggs x 2 (Fried)
2: Bacon x 4 Rashers (Grilled)
3: Sausages x 2 (Grilled)
4: Mushrooms (Fried)
5: Tomatoes (Grilled)
6: Baked Beans
7: Various Breads/Toasts - White/Brown/Wholemeal
8: Tea/Coffee/Milk/Juices/Water

Note: Guests with specific dietry or vegetarian needs can be catered for just speak with Chef Rez and he'll be happy to accomidate your request.

On a normal weekday, It's 2 slices of brown/wholemeal bread toasted and lightly buttered with a coffee or some fruit juice.

What is the normal in your life (everybody) for both normal and weekend treats... and where in the world are you eating your breakfast?

I personally don't really eat breakfast, haven't really since my school days.
Occasionally on the weekend we will go out for a kinda brunch....in those cases i love scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes or waffels and some hash browns (i think this would be considered a fairly "Amercian" style breakfast).

Guess its not that different, mainly the mushrooms and tomato.
I think my dad would love the "full english" treatment tho.

... oh and I forgot, BLACK PUDDING.... I have NEVER eaten it and NEVER will... However it is very popular as part of the Full English.

Quite an interesting read (when your are stoned and you don't know that much about black pudding)

I love black pudding and haggis. Especially when followed by the word "supper".

That breakin_8_ed feast sure sounds sweet and if I hadn't just had my dinner then i would be PM'ing you with the drool that would inevitably be streaming from my mouth.

... I must point out at this stage; "we", my family and I eat quite a healthy diet... this stodgey greasy food is strangly considered a treat and a break from the routinely norm.

We eat lots of cereals, wholemeal, oatmeal and brown breads, we fry very little, we grill as much as possible, losts of pasta, vegetables and salads. But I do like meat, I love chicken, fish and red meats. I always trim all the fat from any meat I eat.

I excersive (walk the dog twice 1 hour 30 mins in total) and I eat well... so why am I still over-weight???

Munchie time...
