if any of you are hardcore COD fan's then you'll know who WingOfRedemption is and how much of a machine he is.

He posted a comparison video a few months back but due to youtube only allowing 100 video's per channel it seems to have disappeared. One of his main point's was that the analogue sticks offered superior control of your character and greater accuracy due to the horrendous dead spots on the xbox analogue sticks. also as said before it also has a better d-pad. Now for me all that matters is accuracy and being able to put my USMC dude where i want him! I must have jeremy beadle hands as i have no problem with holding the controller and build quality is irrelevant as i look after my hard earned goods. Ive only ever owned an xbox for a month as i sold it, didn't really fancy bunging MS another £50 for Wi-Fi but i do have a super custom built pc that i use an Xbox controller with so have vast experience with both controllers and putting all the console differences aside for actual CONTROL over the character, car, mythical beast the ps3 is just better. I think some people actually forget what the word controller actually refer's to pffttt

Dava if you must have seriously sweaty thumbs or just peado hands if your indents mean that much to you :P :P :P

Here's one video comparison from another COD machine, yes he has a dodgy tash and his voice is piercing but he knows his shit!

But hey everyone we are all entitled to our opinions and thats just mine

PEACE!

Here is a picture after i put on rubber grips, L2 & R2 triggers grips and extra grips for the Analog sticks. This bulks the controller up alot. Thought i'd give it a try. I don't mind the triggers on the back but holding this thing now its all rubberey and feels like a womens special :P toy!!

The bits cost £7.50 from Asda.

I also like the way you can charge the Ps3 pad on a cradle. and the accessories just keep coming for the ps3. Can't wait for the Ps3 move motion sensor controller. No doubt X box will cop this lol!!

yeah you can also get a charger cradle for the xbox pads.

im not saying both consoles dont have there own pros/cons.

just remember this is my own opinion on the matter and i do have both systems, i just prefer the xbox over the ps3, i had the ps2 originally and yeah was great, but then i got a xbox and it pissed all over it, (inbuilt memory, plug and play online gaming etc...)

you remember the ps2's attempt at online gaming? the add-on you had to buy which barely worked? and i guess your gonna say xbox stole the inbuilt memory from playstation lol!! ps2 had 8mb memory cards, xbox had 8gb internal memory with the option to play your music in-game.

so if you saying xbox didnt bring new ideas to the table then you for one are wrong!!!, if dreamcast picked up more popularity it would of eclipsed the playstation!! (dreamcast = first console with 'playable' online gaming ;) )

i was just showing that ps3 pads don't have to be horrible to handle/play with.

I have never owned a 360 so i don't know what bits and bobs they have.

Im just sticking to what i know and like best that works for me as a games console, blu ray player, live media streaming, music, videos, bbc i player and so on.

And the black gloss goes with my 50" Plasma :P

No complaints from anyone that watches a bluray or sky Hd or gaming with full dolby surround. Or using turtle beach headset! ( for ninja pro)

you sure? i thought plasma could only acheive 1080i ?

also thing with plasma is it burns into the screen if the same image is on it for too long. (although plasma has its advantages having deeper blacks)

yeah? we have a LG plasma also along with a LCD and the plasma screen is burnt, when there is blacks you can see red pixels from where its been burnt, obviously only happens if you leave the same image on for a few hours!

they day i start basing my console purchases on the controllers as a whole is the day i quit gaming. cant imagine basing which console i was going to buy judging wholly on that. i agree the ps3 controller is nice, but i more base it on games, which has the best exclusive titles and which has the best online. also if all my friends go for one system i may be more likely to use that one. for some reason only like 2 of my friends got ps3....which is a big reason why i play 360 so much. no friends to play against on ps3.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

dont think the newer plasmas have as much a tenancy to burn. the old ones did though. had a friend who left need for speed on pause and had all the speed/rpm gauges burned into his screen as well as a few cars.
