tobacco 'n weed is a personal choice.

Tobacco 'flavor' don't really exist - it's only for the nicotine. Or, maybe to cut the weed down in strength.

If so, why not just smoke lighter weed?

I smoked tobacco for too many years, and hate the addiction I still wrestle with.

About tobacco "flavoring", I hear ya hardboiled. The premise was about using tobacco as an additive and not as an extracted flavoring as mentioned about Strawberry and Apple. My bad for not clarifying. Moving on...

this old chestnut again  , people your side of the pond NEVER will understand why we smoke it with tobacco, its the way most europeans prefer it, its nothing to do with wanting 2smoke a weaker joint, its just the way learnt &got used2
+imo a fat hash joint needs tobacco, sprinkling a little hash on a bed of marijuana is a waste - IMO

Indeed, were it not for the hash I got in younger times, I wouldn't be a tobacco smoker now.

I am now confirmed tobacco devotee, so it may well have happened anyway, but smoking hash js certainly got me over that initial threshold with nicotine.

But, tobacco does have a complex taste of its own, it also burns cooler and more smoothly than either weed or hash, and the combination is, let's say, an acquired taste.

Whilst I also like to do a hash pipe from time to time, I almost never smoked pure weed, and when I did it wasn't that enjoyable - the taste was too strong and the smoke too hot.

stopped mixing it, because I always get dizzy from the tobacco (believe it or not), it gives me headache and it makes me sleepy. ofc weed makes me sleepy as well, but only after smoking a whole shitload, but give me a cigarette and I will fall asleep as soon as I get to sit :D

I dont like the taste of tobacco either, thats why we stopped tobacco a while ago and this month we quit the cigarettes as well.... :)

Sincerely, I hope you are successful in quitting. From my experience, the first couple of weeks are a bitch, physically speaking. But over the long haul, it's the mental addiction that's the bitch. I have tried three times to quit over the past 37 years (smoking since 12, sad right?) with the longest break having been a little over one year. I think I would have been successful had I been mentally tougher after my brother died. I'm not sure if I will try again though, maybe if science were to discover a chemical that could turn off the addiction switch in my brain, I dunno.

Good luck. I hope you NEVER light up another cigarette. :)
ps - that doesn't mean somebody else should light it up for ya.

I would have said- no, dealers could not sell that, people would realise its sprayed. But that was yesterday - today some said ' i got blueberry', as soon as they produced it from their pocket i knew it was fake tasty puff. It has a sicky smell as well. i dont know if it was 'blueberry thrill' or the 'ghetto grape' flavour but it was fucking super rank. Who the hell does this?!? FOOLS! I need to go to holland!

Some interesting thoughts, thanks to all.

As a regular of Eindhoven I noticed it when it appeared on the menu in 2008(I guess).
Beforehand, The Grasshopper is in my humble opinion one of the best shops in Eindhoven(just saying as I felt some negative vibes due to some posts here in this thread. At the end they're just making money like every coffeeshop else. I rarely got any bad grass or hashish there respectively noticed any seedy activity. Important for me is the fact that they didn't tell me any bullshit about this flavouring thing. If this is true, apple/strawberry wiet just being flavoured white widow, it's a shame though.)

Whatever, on the day I first saw it on the menu I asked my favourite budtender there about it, took a look, smelled and went like: 'Is this flavoured with additives like e.g. tobacco, tell me?'. She replied: 'Yes, but you can smoke it.'

Of course but this just isn't my idea of grass(beware, this all could end up in a discussion about 'What's natural in general?' ).
Sure, I don't like it(precise: refuse it)but each to their own and as long as a shop doesn't keep it a secret.

I bet if grass and hashish would be legal some day(one day after the end of the world  )'they'(e.g. industry, etc. insert someone) probably would - beside non-flavoured - start to sell grass(perhaps hash, too  ) with every flavour you could imagine(think about blunts etc. or the hype about smoking flavoured tobacco with a hookah years ago).

It would be advertized, hyped and marketed like everything else(youth protection considered, similar to alcohol, tobacco etc.).

I also could imagine people saying 'I can't imagine smoking non-flavoured grass or hashish'(some months after introducinthis strawberry weed the apple flavoured one was offered, too. Haven't been to them like two months but on my last visit both types of weed were still sold, after almost two years. So I guess there is a demand.'Sad but true'.)
Crazy. But that's life, right?

Just my two cents.
