Yeah I'm pretty sure it's still there, I haven't been for a good while though.

Google streetview shows it's still there. :)

Hi Folks,

Was just coming into the food section to ask about getting a good steak and It looks like this place is highly recommended. Just wondering if I would need to book here (there will be between 4-6 of us going).

Last time I was in the Dam we ended up on a diet of chips and reheated pizza. Steak is definately on the menu this time around.

I didn't book but there was only 2 of us, if I was you I'd pop in earlier in the day (or the day before) and book a table.

On another note (I know I've mentioned the following place before) - a friend of mine just got back and tried Cafe Loetje http://www.cafeloetje.nl/ and said it was stunning, the same person put me onto Wok 2 Walk and the Burger Bar, he also said it was heaving come 5:30 so you need to get there early or just to be sure book a table.

Ive been to a place called "marta maria" a few times! the food is good like! but the decor could do with a little pick me up,Its decent price wise as well! its at the top of "haalemmerstraat" if i remember rightly.
