Sorry guys dunno much about hotels in Cph but ive heard good things about Danhostel (on Langebro) and its pretty close to Christiania.
Sas Radisson hotel (4 or 5 stars) is also close by i think its expensive though
Copenhagen is about the same size as Amsterdam so no matter where you stay its easy to get to Christiania.

How good does your Danish have to be to get along ok? About how much is it to get a hotel room in the area? About how far is it to the Copenhagen airport(I'm kindof considering going to Christiania instead directly to the Neatherlands on April 15 but want to dig some before I really plan).
Danish is a hard language to learn danes will be impressed with foreigners giving it a try. The airport is on the island called amager 7-8 km from Christiania. Should you make it here let me know we can arrange a toke and talk

We stayed @ The Hotel Nebo in Copenhagen...sort of right out the back door of the train station..the economy room suited our needs with a shower/shitter down the hall, but have private rooms as well.
The included breakfast far surpasses included breakkies in A'dam...plentiful Danish ham, cheeses, eggs, cereal...the works.
Here's the website

Christiania is about a 20 minute walk from there...don't fret, plenty to see along the way.
Flew
www.transavia.com from Amsty to Copenhagen but looks like they are discontinuing service from Amsterdam to Copenhagen as of tomorrow...they link you to Norwegian Air Shuttle...dunno.
Enjoy your smokey trip!

Thank you, I just booked a couple of nights there in December

Can you leave your stash and stuff in the room? Guess it's different from place to place.

If anyone sits on some good Christiania tips, please let me know.
What I'm looking for most is info about places where you can actually sit down and smoke... Might be a bit cold outside these days.
Soon I'm off, might take some pics on the products for this forum

Yeah, let us know what you thought of it. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Copenhagen-Amsterdam-Reykjavik trip and hearing a bit more of what I'm in for is always welcome.

The suggestions above are all good id like to add
Køkkenet/the kitchen cheap coffee and light snacks,
Abegrotten/monkeys cave cafe newly renovated on pusherstreet
Loppen/the flea is a laid back cafe good food try dish of the day, music venue upstairs
Nemoland restaurant and bar party vibe on weekends
I suggest you go to the Christmas market in the 'Grå Hal' its a lively indoor market. Try the potchai its delicius and strong ive tried it

and the pancakes and the waffless.... this is the place for christmas treats and munchies
I hope you have a pleasant stay in cph if you wanna meet up for a smoke let me know
