I was thinking about late april for next year but september would work also,& I like any music to be honest! & for what you say denmark is expensive + its best to keep away from cops! theres plenty to do & things are easy to find ,Great! & yea one more thing,How far is christiania/copenhagen city centre from copenhagen airport? i hear its built on an island that was reclaimed from the sea? anyways thanks for you info so far ,KD.

i was there late april and it was great! the airport is less than ten minutes from the city center by tram and from the city center its about a 20 minute walk to christiania (there are buses aswell!) i smoked all over the citiy just kept it discret and never had a problem and hardly ever saw a cop other than speeding by with the blue lights on.
denmark is extremly expensive almost double than amsterdam to give u some rough figures if u buy an 0.5 liter bottle of water at 7eleven its 3,95 euro you should try and find an aldi
christiania as such i considered is a little alternative paradise youll feel welcome and great the minute u enter no matter at what time of the day the stalls where there and there are plenty stalls to check out! i hung out at nemos cafe alot u can sit outside ..smoke drink play chess....theres food stalls and restaurants in christiana the most commercial thing i came across was a kebab. make sure to buy some christiania beer at the christiania store is delicious! feel free to ask if u have any other qeustions

Great! i walk everywhere anyways,Just as soon as i get back from amsterdam/antwerp/dusseldorf & maybe even paris this november i will get saving up! was gona go to barcelona next summer but copenhagen is the front runner by a mile for sure ,Yea i notice malmo is just across the oresund bridge also! super a day trip there i think,Gona go for the the week maybe 10 days,Thanks again to everyone KD.

This is our lovely hometown (awesome that a lot of you visited and had a great time, sad that we were away / taking a break from the forum at the time otherwise we wouldhave loved shoving you around a bit):
We would like to revive the thread and will reply a bit to questions asked by Jesscass in the Groening thread as not to hijack that:

Weed quality in Christiania and Denmark as a whole varies so much that we've had several periods where we just don't buy green for months and months . Now, going back to the period you visited and the yearsabefore (especially when the ams scene had it's glory days in the early to mid 00's) there was no comparison at all (ams had much superior quality compared to today and weed wasn't that big yet in Denmark). Today at the very best of times you can get lucky and find one or two weeds on offer that is on par with the mid range of a decent (but not top) shop, but only if you look really hard and know what you are looking, smelling and feeling for (yes, they let you handle the product .) Keep in mind that all this was prior to last weeks tragedy. Once in a fucking blue moon you will come by a sample that will rival even mid range stuff from say easy times or utopia, but this is really unlikely fora random visitor to encounter. We had a few samples of these two categories since coming home from our last visit to ams and think we even have pics to share, so will try to illustrate...

Cheers for the update! Scary things haven't changed much weedwise. But luckywise there is something available being more than just a substitute !

So what about hashish? As said even though sampled a lot of good quality here the really high grade moroccans(not talking about the new stuff with mainly dutch genetics from Morocco like Boerejongens chain and others sell lately) weren't around so all about connections here again what I was told there, too.
Then can imagine and heard everything is available(like almost everywhere as long as you are connected )as I heard anyway especially Scandinavia as a whole is a lot into this and only slowly changing.

As said buying hashish here is just a bonus though as this place is more than that and so worthy of support in my humble opinion. So since this thread is about Christiania not Pusher Street what's your thoughts on this, especially since you are locals. Anecdotes more than welcome!

*sigh* still on the phone, things got a little screwy and then quite smokey last night so didn't get around to posting...

But, concerning hash it gets a little complicated, but let's try and sort it out together:
The first thing you have to know, and this also goes for weed but is even more pronounced. with hash, a lot more typically,Iis never ever buy per the gram!

The absolute worst thing you can do is to ask for just one g, as they will typical give it to you at the standard price, which for the top of the range would be between 14-19 E for Moroccan and at least 15 or 16 and sometimes hitting upwards of 25 E for the very exotic like dreamy Nepal pollen as good as you will get it anywhere.

Now ask the same guy for 200 Dkk (roughly 25 E) in stead and he will very likely give you at least 15 if not 2 g of a hash that per the gram is more than 15 E. They might have one or two luxury items like the Nepal which they will be more conservative with, but throw down 100 E and ask him for his pick for best value in the top range and you are more or less dead sure of getting 10, unless you act like a Dickson or some other fluke happens. If they know you or in some case just like your attitude, small talk or knowledge about the products your buying they will sroutinely. throw a g or two more in, and buying in bulk like that will, when you are a regular (at least at the better stands we go to) almost always earn you a pack of filter tips, papers and a lighter nicely wrapped up with an elastic band as well as a pre-rolled fatty "for the road".

So as you see prices will vary almost extremely much depending on how you approach it, and to a high extent also depending on we you buy and if the guys know you.

Quality and selection also varies a good deal and always takes a big hit when there are the largest raids / busts as well as other factors te a lesser degree.

A funny example of this xas last year (or maybe two years back rather) when weed quality was really on the rise and at a very good level already relative to previously up till early summer when it dropped like a brick practically over night and didn't recover for a long, long time. Wondering about this we talked to a few guys out there, and one stated that "Roskilde fucked it all up", meaning the large danish music festival near Copenhagen that annually draws about 100k visitors and is a huge go to place for smokers, partiers and other good folk. We heard this mentioned by several guys, but never figured out the reason that it stayed low for many months after, except for our guesses that maybe some the best growers also went to the festival, got to fucked up and forgot to take care of their clones or somethin like that

As announced a few examples, bot bought at Christiania since returning from ams (mid august) and before the shooting almost two weeks back.

First is a mango kush bought Sunday after returning Saturday, and we just had a Mango Kush from Easy Times a very few days earlier so it was a good comparison. While it wasn’t as good as the Easy Times version which was both more flavorful and powerful (almost perfect cure and flush also on the ET version), it was a very fine smoke that easily will compare to weed from a midrange shop in ams, although the flush could be improved just a bit. Again, this is a quite rare find and still not up to par with the top shops in ams and even further from the private market stuff in ams. At that day there were easily 50 different strains on offer if you count just half the stands there (at the time the larger stands would have around 6 to 8 “High quality” strains and seldomly share more than a strain or two), this was the best we could find looking at three or four top level stands. Taste was very akin to the one from ET, just sadly not as powerful, sweet or fruity, and the effects, while still potent, not all the way where the ET version was.

Second is two pictures of an OG Kush bought about a week later. The first picture is two smaller nugs stuck together, last picture one of these two nugs alone. The latter one was frosty as fuck, some of the craziest we have ever seen from a Christiania weed. Sadly the picture doesn’t even do it justice as it was quite intense. Taste and power both there, cure couldn’t be much better and the flush was decent also. This is one of the very rare finds, maybe once a month if you look hard and know what to look for and where the best weeds are. If we bought this at a good shop in ams we would not have been disappointed, smoked one of our “guys” right into silly land also… So they are there, the top weeds, but they are very hard indeed to find, and sadly still do not compare to the top in ams.

Thanks for the input! The tips about scoring there I was luckywise already aware of as said this local on my way there introduced me to these mentioned guys and their stalls before I went to other stalls. Bought there for the first time. When I checked out the others and was told the more I buy the cheaper it gets I returned to the other guys and they were like 'We‘re the cheapest guys here. No discount.' .
They were selling the same stuff like the other ones without much on offer though but when others asked 120dkk for the very same quality they were going for 60dkk no matter how much you bought(well, don‘t know about slabs though). Those discount guys weren‘t that 'cheap' even with their discount.
So I wondered from which source those discount guys get their supply .
Really ripp off prices considering black market and retail giving such discounts only shows their huge profit margins, really a shame.
Rest is a bit of common sense to me as didn‘t find it too difficult dealing with them.

Thanks for your comments on the weed available as well. Would pick up that Og Kush then. Still don‘t understand their amateurish approach with growing when its possible elsewhere. Its really not rocket science but still think coffeeshop wiet is just a little better nowadays.
Maybe still people buy more hashish at Christiania but doubt that too as weed is on the rise everywhere since some time.
However, pictures of moroccan hash you posted in the other thread look nice to me, especially if this is a retail price with your contacts in Denmark. Enjoy.
