I can only speak for myself, but once there I would prefer to use my real name, which is :?: :?: I know my wife dosn't want to be known as Mrs. Twitch. so what can I say, except NO NAME TAGS or etc., might be willing to paint name on face, but no tags :P

OMG, please don't anybody tell me that they even thought for one minute that I had any interest in Name Tags... I chuckled when I read it about The Channelites and could just imagine everybody else just looking, pointing and giggling... thats everybody, not just fellow tokers.

Imagine how much you would giggle at a bunch of Tagged adults...

It's wrong.

With regard to my real name, when on the public forum I will only ever use my username - Rezin_8_ed / Rezin / Rez... that's simply because we are in a virtual world... Rez don't even excist... he's just a part of my imagination which I have shared with you all... However, it's like spiderman, when I've had a toke and I'm sat at my laptop all chilled out I become Rez... :? I speak my mind, ask my questions and have a good time at it... cheers, you lot, you bunch of ACDers

When you meet me, I'll introduce myself as Rez, quickly followed by "but my friends call me ____ "...

I have share my name with a few in PM and that is because I am comfortable with doing so based on the content of our conversation.

When with friends... be yourself.

Rez

I really don't get people wanting to keep their real names private on internet message boards and things. I'd use my real first name if it hadn't already been taken. =D

I have one of those name tags from last year when Channels celebrated its 10 year anniversary, seeing that there was 100+ people from all over the world meeting for the first time it was the best way to put names to faces!

For a group of that size I guess the Name Tag option was the best... and for the occasion something of a keepsake?

Yeah its a good keepsake, I saw your no disrespect bit before and I'd like to point out that I wasn't offended just wanted to make the point and if I can get my lazy ass to do it I'll take a pick and post it later. (I still have some pics from my trip a few weeks ago as well)

I was on about the group name thing when I said tag, rather than badges.

[Mr T Voice] I Aint wearing no name tag fool! [/Mr T Voice]

And no I'm not having that glass of milk or that huge icolator joint either only to wake up with a name tag on.

Being British though I really wouldn't mind anyone knowing my real name, in fact if I do ever get to meet you guys I'd rather be known by it........

I can understand why the Amercians amongst us would rather be a little more private.

I'm the same, when I met DC in May one of the first things I did was tell him my proper name, I dont mind being called Boner, Bone, Bones as I use that on Xbox Live.

I'm Rhys pleased to meet you!

Shouldn't be to hard to track any of us down anyway if the authorities wanted to.... I'm guessing not many of us use an edge caching device or Proxy so our ISP's will have full details!
