Go to gate!

Post by Janne »

My guitar safely put in her flight case... the sure sign that it’s time to leave! Today it’s eight hours by train, and then the night will be spent at a friends house in Oslo (how can I possibly get through one more night in Norway, got four hours of sleep last night... tops). Tomorrow evening there’s finally the flight to Schipol :D

I’m sure I’ll write a report, I always do. Two nights in Amsterdam last September had me rambling on for about twenty pages (the thrill of the city was nothing I could ever have prepared for in advance). Maybe this time I’ll give my english a try, which would be a first in years... Don’t worry, I’ll make an edited edition, and on these pages I guess my english will be more readable than norwegian anyway ;)

I haven’t commented on everything I’ve read in this forum (which turned out to be a lot!), but I owe thanks to a whole bunch of you for great tips. Really appreciate it.
Have a nice week, ya all! I’m otta here 8)

Hi :) Just dropping in for two secods. Am at The Tops. The trip so far... what can I say... Can't figure out this tabs, write faster in my note book :)

The people are too nice. The girl at the bar is too qute. Being in Amsterdam is like playing the main part of this ultimate feel good movie. Got to love that. I find that every time I make a wish... it comes true. Like I hope the spot at the windows come avaliable soon. And then they do. You know? ;)

By the way, I'vebecome a health freak. And I'm not saying I've quit smoking tobacco... but I'm not saying I do anymore either ;) Dim Sum Palace is great, Wok to Walk. The hotel is great to.

No guitar playing yet, rain but very nice in the summer. Been to Homegrown, Tweede Kamer, Soft Temple, Blowery, Rokerij, Rookies, Bulldog... Shitm this takes too long. Give ya an update when I return. Which i don't want to talk about right now. The Shiva was excellent, 1,9 g for 12 euro. Will try the toilet facilities (so far 420 great in that aspect, makes a girl happy!). Then roll the rest of the shiva, while daydreaming some more about the dreamy girl... Then I have 1,9 g for 12 euro of white widow for the hotel room.

I could never have dreamed of this... Thinking of Bluebird for tomorrow. We'll see.

Peace,
Janne.

P.S. Bill Hicks: "Love all the people"... Excellent travelling companjon !!

Have made some truly nice friends today. Help tourists with direction, love my local coffee shop, no surprise they won the football (excellent fun to wach at the hotell room while I got ready for some evening fun, football commenting in duch is hilarious, now they sail by on boats on the canals, all in orange, singing... are you feeling this?? Are ya all here already??!!), the people are going nuts. I dig them, they're so friendly, show me all sorts of nice (and tasty... OMG!!!) food and drinks and weed. And the White Widow... sweeet :) Will try the Orange bud tomorrow morning.

Orange everywhere, and the smells everywhere... Cinnamon, apple, all the flowers... The say sun for tomorrow and sunday. I'm not leaving this place ever, I swear to you... I belong here, you know what I mean?

Peace, love and hip hop  The music is great!! Tips later ;)

Yours truly,
Jane.
