The final countdown...

At last after counting down the last four months myself and two friends are hitting the Dam nice and hard this Thurday :D The three of us have not been away together before and my two friends haven't actually met each other yet, but sure what the hell, it'll be grand I'm sure :?

Unfortunately, it is me who has the pressure :) , what to do and where to go, etc. So I have decided that the best and simple plan is a good old CS crawl - so far on the (my) list:

Basjoe
Paradox
Yo Yo
Anyday
Rokerij
Abraxas
420
Greenplace

We only have a few days and I'm not sure if there is somewhere completely fantastic and obvious that I have missed, if so please advise...I/we will also make our first trip to Nes :) and other smoker friendly bars/clubs - I'm sure there is a thread here where I will hunt down that info.

Also we have had to stay way down south at Novotel on Europaboulevard - does anyone know of any good coffeeshops located near here?? I'm not at all familiar with the area...

I would love to arrange a T&T or two but whilst stoned I tend to forget about time and most things generally so thought it was best not to mess anyone around. That said we will have our ACD map on the table and if anyone hears three NI accents gabbling away at speed, two good looking blonds  and a normal looking guy at a table, then please come and say hi.

I will also keep brief notes, and take pics where poss and complete my first ever trip report on our antics (of which I'm sure there will be many) upon my return 8)

Hillstreet Blues has a good deal on weed right now, and sitting outside people watching is the best way to wyle away an hour or so..

Greenplace is almost next door... If Basjoes is closed as James is a bit more relaxed about work hours since Leo's passing.. no sense making the kids work 24/7 when they have school and lives...

Saying that, do not hesitate to substitute 'Bageera" I really like the vibe and the gear in there...

then around the corner to Rustland and the cool sleepy cat!

That about covers the Niewmarkt area for me... I do this crawl once a week.. Great fun...

enjoy!

Thanks tutti and spider my list is growing - perhaps I need more €€€€€€ to get me through this trip! I intend to keep my flock close by - but not sure what happens when the sheep dog wanders :? Last day in work today - my colleages bid me farewell with a warning:

Have a good time AND DONT GET ARRESTED
