yeah, I think he also asked for a place that sells dutch and Belgian beer too.

the retail store you mentioned is prime.

I asked for Leffe blonde in there once (for a to go cup). The shop said "we don't carry that. Supermarkets do."

:D  :D

Tesco keeps fluctuating their prices with Leffe near me. One day it's £2 then it's 2 bottles for £5 and the other day it was a ridiculous £3.69 per bottle and guarantee it will change back again soon. Fantastic beer though and my local has it on draught. Leffe or Palm Royal will do me fine in A'dam.

Since we're on the subject....:D

Is Hooegaarden widely available in the Dam? I can't remember ever seeing it although we stick mostly to the coffeeshops so that's not surprising. I did manage to find one place online, a bar at the back of the Royal Palace that apparently sells it.

Anyone know anywhere else I can enjoy a large glass of this refreshingly citrussy beer? ;)

Shame that they only seem to sell it in bottles :-/

It's completely different to the draught version imo. Much more gassy, if you know what I mean. That said, i'd still drink it above most bottled beers, but I wouldn't go out of my way to look for it unlike the draught version ;)

Like I said earlier the Nes cafe sell it on draught and I agree it's so much better than bottled, I actually have a pub about 20 miles away that sells it on draught that I need to visit sadly the wife likes it as well so one of us has to drive so one of us misses out.

On a side not I have a leather Leffe beermat I aquired ;) from my local.

There is definitely one place behind the Royal Palace that sells it, I still have it saved on a Google Map from our failed trip in April lol.

I'll be making sure I have a couple of pints of it through the weekend regardless, there or elsewhere :D

Best I can find is Amstel at £3.50 a pint, Heineken at £4.00 a pint and Hoegaarden at near £5 a pint :(

I dont even like Hoegaarden!
