What did he do? I thought he was running a seed selling business? I feel bad for you if you were ripped off, but this is the first I've heard of it, and I took quite an interest in his case. Elaborate.

...ive been in this seed game for alot of years and you learn very quickly who can be trusted...feel free to not believe me but i know......heh...facts...let's talk about his heroin addicted kids...let's talk about Loretta Nall and her auspicious start in cannabis activism...let's talk about Emery and Rainey and thier Montreal sex club exploits...how about how he showed reeferman's face on pot tv?...printed breeder Steve's home phone number in the back of his magazine?...how about all the honking and whistling about 'taking on the man' and then plead guilty or try to plead guilty...how about the ol' bait and switch seed practice he used for years?...publically threatened to give peoples names and adresses to the cops if they didn't stop complaining about the fact that he sent out bunk seeds?...cmon'...

Yeah he certainly isn't as clean as a lot of people think he is, the biggest thing I heard was he gave the FBI adresses of people in the States who had bought seeds from him.
Theres been plenty of rumours about his seed business one being he'd sell say (all an example) Greenhouses seeds (at really inflated prices, $50 for $200) but you'd get some locally produced F2's that he had made, obviously the seed business is a fucking shady one anyway but he didn't help at all, I know Jodie Emery is always saying he put all his money into activism but it's funny that they're moaning about the $500,000 tax bill they had to pay, he'd of had to earn a fucking fortune to end up with a tax bill that big in the first place.

I've met him a couple times. Emery is a business man, who thrived in an "illegal" trade in Canada for a long time. He's a fucking roach preying on those who were also breaking "laws" by purchasing seeds across the boarder.
I won't shed a tear for the guy, he got his money, rolled the dice and is getting what he set himself up for... hard time.
If he was a true "activist" he wouldn't be going to jail for his business practices.

Wow, talk about seeing the glass half full folks, pathetic.
He did ALOT of good as well, lets not throw the baby out with the bath water.
Maybe some folks need to expand on what they have read, not take what the DEA has said at face value over someone who has done alot to help the war on pot.
Including donating alot of money to some very good causes to forward positive legislation.
Dont spread rumors without backing it up with a single fact, that is slander
