Boston-Montreal is one of the best rivalries in sports.
I am never sad if one of the Original 6 teams wins the cup.

As of the start of the 2007–08 NHL season, the Bruins have won just over 255 of these matches, scoring a total of 1,814 goals against the Canadiens, with the Canadiens winning over 320 of them, scoring a total of 2,071 goals against the Bruins, with 105 other games between the two teams ending in ties, all before the 2004–05 NHL lockout's rule changes mandated the "shootout" format to break such tie games, going back all the way to the Bruins' first NHL season of 1924–25. As of the start (on April 16, 2009) of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs initial matchup between Boston and Montreal, the two teams have met for a total of 159 games, some 42 more games than two other "Original Six" teams, the Detroit Red Wings and
Toronto Maple Leafs.

So.. EY! whos the better team? WHO GOT 24 and maybe next spring 25 CUP ey!? 8)

i hate the bruins too adamaster..but going to have to play the devils advocate. i think the habs vs pooins rivalry is clser than it looks. lets be honest most of those 320 wins prob came between 1920-1955 or w/e when there were like teams total.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

basketball may have been invented by a canadian but it was invented in and embraced by america(utah). steve nash does kick ass, but not hall of fame material. and he was born in south africa. just for the sake of debate adamster(not gonna attack ya) but if basketball was truelly a canadian sport then your national team would be quality. i think we know if team usa played team canada at basketball team usa would win 8-9 times out of 10..just like team canada would beat us 8-9 times out of 10 in hockey. someone told me..one of my canadian friends that hockey is not technically canada's national sport. he corrected me and said it was curling. is that bs?

basketball kinda sucks though. to repetitive. hockey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>basketball. and the best goaltender ever imo was russian. mr vladislav tretiak. a shame he never went to the nhl.
