I'm a little confused about this, and doubtful that it's true.

http://www.rpharms.com/support-tools/ee ... ptions.asp
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society website says:

Since November 2008, valid prescriptions issued by a doctor or dentist in an EEA country or Switzerland may be legally recognised in the UK. Emergency supplies for patients of doctors and dentists registered in an EEA country or Switzerland were also enabled at the same time.

KEY POINTS

Prescriptions from doctors and dentists registered in the EEA or Switzerland may be recognised in the UK.
Emergency supplies for patients of doctors and dentists registered in the EEA or Switzerland are also legally possible at the request of the patient or prescriber.

NO controlled drugs from ANY schedule can be prescribed or supplied¹.

That last bit means that cannabis is not legally recognised as a prescription in the UK because it's on schedule 1. Any thoughts about this?

His pharmacist wont apply for the license because of it being a controlled drug, he's meeting his MP and he's writing to the Home Office about it but as it stands all he's done is smuggle his 'medicine' back, I dont hold much hope for him to get it legally.

Yeah but all he did was smuggle the marijuana back, he's claiming it's totally legal when it looks like it isn't.

I just noticed that Pinky is looking to take the Home Office to court because of them saying a resident here isn't allowed to bring back prescribed marijuana from Holland which is all well and good apart from the fact he wont be paying for any of this it'll be down to the taxpayer to foot the bill, he's also trying to take the police to court for banning him from driving under the influence of cannabis again at the taxpayers expense.

Good for him. The taxpayer wastes at least a million times as much per year trying to enforce prohibition.

It also give billions to banks and war. I say we can afford this.

Agreed, I am happy to pay for challenging the court about the rediculous MJ laws.

BBC1 tonight (01/11/10) 19:30 Inside-Out
Part of the programme is about UK MMJ users who are testing a legal loophole by getting Dutch GP's to prescribe it to them .
Sending out the good vibes to those that need them right now :-)
