24 Hours in the Dam

Post by Savage »

Went on an overnighter to the Dam a week or so ago.

After much research on these hallowed forums, I had booked us to the 'luxury'room at The rookies.

Arrived about noon, walked to Amnesia first for half gs of 4 strains -
NYCD
Amnesia Haze
Laughing Budda
G13

total cost was 27e, so avg of 13 per g, quite dear i thought as the weed was all pretty small, crumbly shake. buying small amounts I know I aint getting massive buds, but this was still a shame.

Then to Grey Area. Fucking closed! was about 1230 - open at 1200 so was disappointed.

Then legged it to The Rookies and checked in. Damned expensive at 127e the night. Room was shit. Bathroom covered in Mould, live, growing green mould. Ceiling had oily patches all over it - some of which drip onto floor.

Needed a smoke bad by now so went downstairs to rookies CS. Got 1/2gs of SSH and Budda Cheese. borrowed a bong and got into it. After about 5 hits I started using all my varieties, so no idea what was good and not, but not very strong high at all.

Woke up at 3am and thought I would take another hit - but my wife had 'tidied' the bong away and I couldnt find it, so made up a pure J instead, which was good at that time.

Carried on the next day until weed was all gone, then back to base!

Never been a fan of Rookies, alright for smoking in but that's about it, but after reading savages report might just give the place a real wide berth on principle; 127euros for a mold dripping room - nice  :x

I always used to rate rookies but it does seem to have gone down a lot esp after the smoking ban :(

Always been tempted to do an overnighter. But never have as a shame really as could be there and back without anyone really noticing me gone missing from home.
