Evita Steakhouse

Post by wonkybookcase »

Has anyone been to the steakhouse on the top floor of the Grasshopper 2 before?

It's one of our groups birthday and this was suggested, but I was looking for some more information re dress code, ambience...basically I'm wondering if I will have to take a shirt with me and if I will be able to keep myself under control long enough to eat said cow, if you know what I mean.

I've read all the evidence about the floors below so the only thing I would be buying is steak...

Thanks very much.

High Mr Bookcase,
hope you and your 'buddies' have great fun at the weekend.
Not personally tried the place you are considering - BUT - If the team want birthday steaks you might do well to visit the many Argentine steak houses on Damstraat which is at the end of a short walk down Warmoestraat in the direction of Dam Square from G/hopper2.
Great steaks at different prices from EUR11 specials upwards - many choices of steaks, ribs and burgers etc. and you can wear what you like.
Also as a major bonus you will pass by a load of the well known C/S's on the way like Hunters, Sheeba etc and pick up some tasty morsels enroute :D
There is also a discussion on best steaks a bit further back in this Food section in the forum.
Might see you floatin' around.
Cheers
First visit October 1976 last visit still to come ....

I love the amount of influence you think I have in the decision making process!

I will be going wherever I am dragged but thanks for the ideas all the same.

Fair enough, there wont be a dress code so you wont need a shirt.

I've had a little search but that didn't come up with anything but for some reason I have a feeling I've read some good things about the place.
