Yes it happens i'm afraid mate, i still have 3 i left out, they have been fine so far but the 1 i chopped down last night was looking like she has had enough.Modesta wrote:Just wondering if anyone has ever had any success in stopping mold from spreading throughout the plants .. they are couple weeks from being ready and looks like the mold will ruin most of the nice buds...
Its a gamble mate

I was thinking about a light baking soda solution and misting them,, after all they are getting drenched each night from the dew ...
I believe I have heard of this ,, I was hoping some others had and to get opinions ,, yes I know its a gamble bud... but we still going to do it lol.. so far we have been pinching the mold bits out ... they are looking so beautiful ,, and some are the church ,,
,, they are supposed to be highly mold resistant so Arjan says .. They are just as affected as the Mazar ,, the Ak ,, Train wreck ,, and BC big bud... hopefully we dont have to make the whole bunch into oil ...

bordeaux mixture....spray on affected area only....if the mold is in yer buds then its game over but if not on buds the mixture will kill it.....sulfur candles are a useful aid too.............do not spray the mixture on the buds or anything u want kept alive............good luck....easily available from most garden centres

Ive heard of people trying this but not sure on the results, im not the biggest fan of spraying anything on my plant unless its an 100% must.Modesta wrote:I was thinking about a light baking soda solution and misting them,, after all they are getting drenched each night from the dew ...

but as echc1 said if its in the bud your best bet is to chop them down and get all the mold out and see what your left with

Bud Rot Stop is basically the same stuff as bordeaux mixture....but with a HUGE price mark up.....i dont approve of chems at all but if the rot is low on the plant then the spray is "ok-ish".....the info i used was passed from a professional horticulturist with 25+years experience....hope you kill the grey death, good luck...for reference i used it about 8 years ago on an outdoor crop (uk climate)...not pretty but i saved 99% of the buds from the grey....never used since as indoor now and control the climate they are exposed to
