1st - 4th november

The wife (sparkitup) and i are travelling out on the 1st november thru to the 4th. And believe me it aint coming quick enough. We already have plans in place. But anyone who knows what it's like out there will know that even the best of plans can go to pot. We're really looking to this time(7th visit since 1st november 2008 Honeymoon) as this time we're going to meet up with other members from here and members from cs frog hollow(flybynights forum). We will be meeting up with gapie who lives out there. And is giving us a tour of the brewery then on to basjoes for a smoke after. Really looking forward to that. And no matter what plans go to pot that will be one we will be sure to keep. As said really looking forward to it. Will be good going back thru towards basjoes after the tour with gapie as we'll be able to get info about the city that you don't hear about from the tourist advise places(bloody useless places). But great touch gapie. Also we will be meeting up with skinanother and freind(who is'nt a member yet but skinanother assures me will be by the time he's finished lol). We'll be meeting them in one of the hunters think we're still undecided yet. Does anyone know what the hunters cs is like for taking in weed purchased elsewhere. I know in the bar bit there ok but we've always made a purchase in the cs. And as we're on a bit of a budget this time any info on this and other cs that allow you to bring in Weed purcahsed elsewhere would be appreciated. By all means i know at least you must purcahce a drink at the very least its only respectful is'nt it. This time while out we are going to be doing the same as last time and try during the day to visit cs that are a bit more away from the centre of town and a bit of the beaten path. Last time out we stumbled upon the de grall and another little place i can't remember the name of but was on the other side of the market. And down the street a bit think it was called like caromine or something like that. Both these cs we're excellent and a bit more local people we're sitting inside. In both cs we we're treated like we we're v.i.ps that we thought was a really nice touch specially in the De Grall. We loved it in there and will be sure to return on this visit. We we're giving not once but twice free tea and coffee. As we made 2 different purchaces from there(had a bit more money then lol). We bought the de gralls cheese which at first i was'nt going to buy as my nose was liking the smell of something else. But after the budtender recommended it at 10 euros a gram i swiftly snapped 2 grams of it up along with the 1st free tea and coffee. While sitting at the bar bit inside and talking to a few of the locals we we're advised on a lovely bit of hash that one of the locals recommended and also let us try a blast from his pipe before we bought it. Again another nice touch. And again i swiftly moved to buy another 2 grams of it. That we sat and piped away with the guy who recommended it to us but he also returned the favour by bringing out a lump i didnt think you were allowed to carry around. But with a little nudge and wink assured me was ok. We sat in the de grall for over 4 hours talking and laughing with locals and also at one point had a game of cards for fun. But after being beat twice in a row was told that i had to take a blast from the pipe with a mixtutre that was to probably blame for me not remembering the name of the hash i bought and also knocking an ashtray of a table after leaving from a resturant over the canal and along the street a bit(Great cs that we will return to on each and every visit from now on). We have also been told to try Katsu which is down that way but we've never been in. Again a cs we'll be sure to visit on this occasion. Going on the advise of members from here and frog hollow in the know for cs away from the beaten path. So far our 3 days in the dam this time are looking very good indeed. And i can't wait to get it underway. I'm also wanting to take the wife to the Doors palace just hope it's still open. As i've just got her into some of the Doors music. I know they don't really play a lot if any Doors music but will be good just to show her some of the memrobellia in there. And i've been informed that the morrison haze is to die for. It's been nearly 2 years since i went in while the mrs got a bit of shopping done during our honeymoon. And any guy who's like me will know shopping for women stuff is just a no no. And besides she said that i just put her off buying stuff when im with her in shops(felt like saying should bloody think so the price of the stuff you pay for handbags and shoes That she assures me women can never have too much of lol). So really looking forward to this visit as we've never done the meet n greets/wake n bakes/toke n talks so we're looking forward to it. And no matter what plans go to pot we will be sure to meet gapie and also go and meet skinanother and freind who had better be a member before we meet (lol). Will be sure to get our trip report up and on site before the cannabis cup starts with up to date advise on some of the entries for this years event(lucky so and so people taking part). Is something both the wife and i really want to take part in maybe next year. As this year finances just won't allow us. As i said even this visit is going to be on a bit of a budget. But we'll still enjoy it all the same specially with meeting other members. Thats the bit we're both looking forward to. And as we're on a budget is also why we will be staying away from the centre of town and the cs on warmeostratt during the day. Except for meeting skinanother in hunters we probs won't be in any other in that part of town. Been there done that so going of the beaten path during the day is not only cheaper but also allows you to try shops out of the way. Just can't wait as the countdown of the days has begun. Countdown has begun LOL it begun on the day we booked lol. But now it's within touching distance. ROLL ON THE 1ST NOVEMBER.

Nice one gapie looking really forward to that. And as stated in my pm to you. If i let the missuss down in going. im in for a rough couple of days when we return lol.

I will get those details printed off and put away in my wallet. Great touch mate. Can't wait to hook up at the brewery then on to basjoes for some of james bas special. Also im looking forward to walking back from the brewery to basjoes with someone whos in the know about the city. But the missuss is really looking forward to the brewery tour.

Roll on the 1st nov. just is'nt coming quick enough. Then before you know it it's here and then it's done. Why does time drag when your waitng to go yet fly by while there lol.

Definetly gapie. Would it be better for us to show up just before the end of your shift or during. The mrs was thinking probably be better to show up just before half three. That way hopefully your shift would be finished and we could walk through to basjoes with you. As i said above would just be good to walk back to basjoes through part of the city with an Amsterdamer who's in the know about the city. But definetly the 1st we both actually can't wait to hook up with you. Really looking forward to it.

Lets make something working for a meet and greet orso .....
We all can meet me at the brewery and then i wil give u a tour and after that we can smoke some shit in a coffeeshop and then make a meet and greet over there and mybe other people will join us
