just wondered why no body seems to put reviews on the main website map anymore?? get alot of reviews here, which is great dont get me wrong, but i was on the site for aages before i found the forum and was always grateful of the info on there but its mainly from like 2004.
i love the travellogues and reviews on the forum but just wonderin if there was a reason people dont really put them on the map anymore??

Probably has a lot do with forum starting and then the travelogues topic coming in. Along with the coffeeshop reviews section as well, I guess nobody sees the point posting on the main site anymore.
Before joining the forum, I searched through the stuff on the main site and I noticed that some of the info was a bit dated, altough it was good that you could see what the shop looked like from the outside.
The main site is still the place to go for the maps,addresses and stuff but it is a drop in the ocean compared to this forum.

yeah true...would be good if some of the comments could just be copied and pasted from the reviews section into it! would help alot of people just lookin through quickly!
( though im glad i signed up the forum! more info and help than i could have imagined! so many places im now gonna go including nes which in all honesty prob wouldnt have popped out for me to go to!)

Actually, there are plenty of new comments coming in for the main site, just not quite so many for the most popular shops (Barneys, Grey Area, etc.) I encourage this because it takes effort to update the main site whereas the forum is self-maintaining. I get bored with pasting comments for the popular shops but always appreciate new comments on less well-covered places.
