Ok, I am worried now

Post by Marco »

Just had a chat with someone in the business....and it looks like they are prepared for something to happen to the CS law.

I asked if it was possible that nothing at all will happen, ie, things stay the same. Answer was a pretty sure NO.

As he said, CDA at one time wanted to close down all shops. SUCKS

...hate to add fuel to the fire but this comes from a trusted source whose livelihood is at stake.

Sad news, keep us all posted. I just can't believe this is actually happening.

Is there any news reports or reputable documentation you can link to regarding this move.

Things wont change that quickly, I think this years cannabis cup could quite well be the last (in Amsterdam at least) though.

As a business owner, he fears the worst. I can understand that. But he can only speculate, like the rest of us.

Yeah I reckon it is on the cards to move to California anyway, if it does indeed get legalised there.

Spain would make a better dam anyway. Better weather, but more hills.

This is horrible news, if the CS owners are not positive then there is no hope.

Did your source give any indicatiom to when they expect thos happen? I was wondering if it would be like mushroom ban and take a year from announcement to enforcement????

His source doesn't know anything concrete apart from what is already public. And I'm pretty sure that the only thing that is really public are the documents we have seen.

That's why most of the news reports are fluff because there is little to fill their word count quota with :D

The "test" would be if anyone would currently buy and open a CS.
I see there are some for sale...

Maybe they're for sale as they know something we can only speculate about? ;)
