My Texas Rangers have just beat the Tampa Bay Rays. First time in franchise history that we made it out the first round of the playoffs. We now take on NY Yankees, bring it bitches :twisted: Go Rangers!!!

Should be a good series. Lee has filthy stuff and the Rangers have a solid lineup.

I HATE the Yankees, they are the Walmart of sports.
They just buy every position they need filled, and just laugh at the salary cap.
Good luck to Texas, you will need it.

Money doesn't even buy the playoffs like it used to. Only 3 of the top 10 in payroll made it to October. The Rangers, Rays and Reds all won their division and are in the bottom half of the league in payroll. The Padres nearly made the postseason with the second lowest payroll in baseball.

Thats complete B.S., c'mon, you can not use a stat like that from ONE year and call it a fact.
Extrapolate that for the past 15 years and you will come up with a more realistic conclusion.
Besides i did not say the Yankees bought World Series, what they have bought is a birth into the playoffs.

i know jackshit about baseball, but i do know the second liverpool are bought out by NESV every utd fan in the world automatically becomes a yankee fan

Wasnt Liverpool owned By the guy whom owns the Texas Rangers and other owner was the ex owner of the Montreal Habs ?? who just sold liverpool FC to the owner of the BOSTON red Sox ?? ;)
