I was already under the impression that we all naturally carry cancer, it's just that certain triggers, be it man-made, natural or genetically inherited, brings it forth. Don't some carry cancer cells or am I wrong here?

You are right - as Colina points out - many cells have the potential for mutation, given "it sustains some genetic insult".

I think the study shows that these' insults' in nature are extremely rare, and humanity's mass production of volatile organic compounds, complex molecules, and aromatic aerosols is the problem.

Perhaps in a few millenia, humanity will evolve into tolerating these, and cancer won't be able to metastasize.

Thank you DuPont.

Did you know sharks are immune to cancer, maybe the answer is studying the shark more, who knows.

I must admit, out of all the charities there are, I never have a problem donating to cancer research.

I had breast cancer and I hope to god that I never have to have Chemo again. In fact I will think twice about it, cash in my investments and travel the world instead. chemo sucks.

Thankful you're still here, cat. So sorry iko and cantona, I know what it's like to lose someone you love to cancer. My son had it as a boy, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Chemo therapy is one of the treatments for those who have cancers. This is very expensive and we can see the effect of this after several sessions. Hair fall is one of the physical results of this.
