Hello,

I will be visiting Amsterdam in a couple of weeks after a break of about 4 years. Last time I was there I was smoking joints, but have since given up the demon tobacco. Because of this I'm considering buying pre-rolled pure joints. Can anyone recommend any shops selling good joints? I'm mostly interested in Sativas. Last time I was there my favourites strains were:

Amnesia Haze - Amnesia
G13 x Haze - Dampkring
Kali Mist - Greenhouse Effect

Alternatively, would it be better to buy weed and make my own joints? I have read somewhere that the quality of the pre rolled is not brilliant.

If you can roll, it's best to buy a gram and roll your own. Not only will you know for sure what's in it, but it's cheaper as well.

and if you can´t roll..buy cones

Some shops shake there Buds in-order to gather crystals for Hash, there's not much THC left by the time it gets rolled into Joints. Also, it's a better value to buy a gram of good Bud instead of buying single Joints.

I dont buy them,& for the money you are paying it would be better to just buy a deal in the 1st place than to purchase a "pre rolled",You do get the horror stories! ie sticks & leaves,No buds.

dont even go there rolling mat cones just ask a punter in the coffeeshop to roll it. practice like mad before trip as long as it smokes job done

This has worked out well for me. I love the Dutch joints.

Paradox has some nice pre-rolled Cheese joints. : )

when you're on the go
sometimes pre-rolls are great
when your looking for a different type of satisfaction

I would also recommend buying your own cones and DIY - it is really really easy - just make sure you grind the stuff well - all coffeeshops with let you borrow a grinder too.

You can buy the cones individualy & in 3 or 6 packs (and maybe others) for real cheap at headshops.

they are cheaper this way, plus you get decent bud and you control how much is in it - I only smoke pure and have found it real hard to find good pure prerolls - most of them have tobacco in them which I dislike.

i always found i could fit just over a gram in each cone - so i would usually have it say 90% Amnesia Haze with a 10% kicker of NYCD or something else down the end.

once had a pure pre rolled g13 spliff frpom barneys... and that killed me.

i only bought a pre rolled becuase i was too pissed to keep rolling, and we were walking en route to westerpark for a concert.

despite the power of that joint, i would never ever recommend pre rolled joints.

you cannot guarentee the age of them, or even the strain. (i watched a video once of a woman who's job was selling pre rolled joints to the shops, so it wouldnt even be the same batch of weed in the shop that was in the joint, even if by some chance it is the same strain.

if you cant roll, learn to roll. and if you dont want to learn, smoke a pipe. simples.

I usually buy a couple a pre rolls if i have stuff and i head into a shop that says you need to by something off the menu or if im too hammerd to roll

I can roll fairly well but i use the sorta thick rizzla so tend to try and practice with the thinner silver skins so i dont look out of place but i can just about roll something with them that looks half decent.

Oh and Old Church does pre roll iceolator hash joints which are pretty good

Looks like buying a gram and rolling my own is the way to go. I used to smoke roll-ups when I was smoking tobacco, so I should be ok. I'll practice a bit before I go.

rolling with pure weed is harder than rolling with baccy. but still def the way to go ask budtenders, or if u get really desperate maybe try a pre roll from tweede kamer. lots of locals in & out the whole time many buying prerolls. gotta be a good sign & hopefully fresh turnover.

When I go to Amsterdam I do not buy prerolled anymore, exept for Rasta Baby, I always get a 5 euros Skunk Joint and it has always been very good, and very big too.

I go to Tilburg twice a month, only to buy my smokes to bring back to Belgium, and as I always go there by train, I no longer roll joints in Tilburg, otherwize I smell weed so much when I'm on the train back to Belgium, it's so embarassing to have people looking at you as if you're a drug tourist (which I am).
So when I go to Tilburg I only smoke pre rolled, at the Grass Company they sell Ice-O_lator Joint for 4.50 euros and that's all I smoke. I stay there smoke 2 or 3 of 'em , then I'm really, really high and ready to go to the station to get the train back to Brussels.
