Hotel Alexander is spotless. Nice staff and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Excellent location by the Vondelpark, Leidseplein felt like my home part of the town. Didn’t play much guitar though (but bought a baritone at Dirk Witte, great place at Vijzelgracht).
As for weed, I would recomend the Blue Cheese at Bluebird. Love that place, also tried the fresh mint tea... lovely!). Northern Light from Rokerij, White Widow from The Tops. And Orange Bud, don’t remember the name of the place I bought it. Natural High from Rookies was a nice and safe start for a light smoker like me. Later on I found I prefer strong and pure joints, and rather smoke a little less (but often
But the absolutely best weed I tried, was the Bubble gum from at kinda classy place just by Nieuwmarkt (just at the edge of RLD). Feel like a light brush of slik against my legs, I swear... 1g for 12 euros. Actually mixed it with the Blue Cheese, what I had left on the last day, think it worked pretty good
I really miss her. Amsterdam left a solid impression on me last year, but this time it absolutely blew me away. If you take your time, smile and behave, I found you simply couldn’t go wrong. A coffee shop is almost like wisiting a friends house, really like that the staff look like they’re enjoying themselves just as much as I am! I like to talk to the budtender, ask him/her about recomendations. If one has some clue about the theory, this is a both educational and fun!
I have spent a lot of time thinking about our laws. 'Don't do this, don't do that..." At Tweede Kamer (yeah, Kali Mist is like a glass of champagne, Oceans 12 is like two
OK. I’ve got to get to it. Two books, just gotta get the notes digitalized. I need a secretary
I’m making plans for the end of July, a four-nighter with a friend. Hope to see you then! In the meantime, I recomend www.radiofreeamsterdam.com. The sond of Johns soothing voice takes me back to a stoney summer Sunday evening, with a view over Nieumarkt...
Peaceand love,
Janne.
