postal smelly proof bags

Post by j-smoker »

does anyone know a good place to buy smelly proof bags (if they even work) in the dam?

would prefer to buy vacum seal bags or better still one which is carbon/foil wrapped to prevent the scumbags at customs ruining my fun.

any ideas on best/cheapest shop to visit to get these?

Yep EDIT has good ones. Some places will also vacuum seal for you (pre-sealed or on demand).

I am pretty sure they do not work. Otherwise, drug smugglers would use them.

They work well enough to carry some on your person/in your suitcase and in your carry on, I've also had a dog walk past me in Schiphol when I was carrying an ounce as well.

Only if you have no other smells of cannabis on you.

The dog that walked by may have been trained to smell bombs...

It had a little vest that mentioned narcotics on it.

are they trained to sniff for cannabis? i remember a while back reading that certain countries dont train their dogs to sniff for it, but it could be complete bullshit, though id be very suprised if a plastic bag with no other masking smell could stop a dog from smelling it,
+i have it from a reliable source  that the no1 thing dogs are now trained to detect is money

Fuck knows if they're trained to smell it or not but smelly proof bags are good enough to mask the smell from humans which is all I've ever been worried about, I remember everyone saying they're only trained to smell 1 thing at a time but I've since been told thats bollocks, I think what the dogs are trained to smell depends on where you are as well, pretty sure a lot of dogs in the US are trained to smell fruit coming in from Mexico due to disease control.

I'm soooo relieved to see the positives that these smelly proof bags work, i started to worry when I first seen they were no good!!

I don't plan to carry any back and will be posting quite alot in the hope of it arriving on someones doorstep

I did find it interesting to see that you can get the bags sealed on demand, how does this work?

Or shouldn't I bother worrying about it being air tight as posts show the bags actually work?

Oh and I got mine from ebay

Make sure you dont post more than 10 grams at a time, if anything post less weight wise just post more letters, try and spread the time between the posting as well.

I've mailed (within the U.S.) using Opsaks. They're designed to be bear proof for camping. Just something to throw out there.
