the id thing will always happen at voyagers , they are just actually following the law, dont be put off buy this

That's debatable. The law is no-one underage in the coffeeshop. If they're clearly overage, the owner should have no problem even if they're not carrying ID. Bars in Amsterdam dont ask 50 year old men to show ID and presumably they're governed by the same law.

It's also not the case it will 'always' happen - as I and others can testify, some staff who work there dont insist on ID. The rule is arbitrary, paranoid, and daft.

it is a criminal offence for anybody over the age of 14 not having valid id

somebody with no id in the shop is a criminal offence happening in the shop
same as somebody selling stolen good,copied dvds etc
sounds bullshit,and it is,but they are looking for ANY way to they can to give hassle
and i have known of people who look well over 18 bein asked to show id during a police controle,(im sure ft carer did last year?)

and yes you wont always been asked once seen you couple times id like to assume that people got the idea and bring it with them
paranoid?? paranoid means thinking people are out to get you when they are,the dutch goverment are out to get us,they have made it clear the dont want alot of the shops,so they looking for any way they can.if they get there way,most the shops in the area will close before the end of the year,plus the 44 close to schools thats 70 odd shops closed by next year

if somebody underage found in a bar,the bar dosent face instant closure
if a customer found with hard drugs or wepons in a bar? no instant closure
a coffeeshop would loose licence for that,so no we aint governed by the same rules

Well said HB, I was talking to a guy from my hometown last night who was in Amsterdam last year about a month before his 18th and he said that when he went into Voyagers he was carded straight away, kudos.

the testing tuesday name is always made up,thats the point to see what people think of it without gettin boged down with names
the name on the menu is normally more a joke between us rather than anything to do with the strain( the 92 thing nothing to do with the strain),nearly all the testing tues are experimental crosses/phenos,not commercially available normally
i wasnt a fan of yesterdays either,some liked it, more didnt,so she aint a keeper,thats the idea of testing

what you see alot is an amnesia strain they just renamed like ( limonade special) or something like that.
i find it so funny.

this is very true,im glad people are starting to notice,the amount of renamed amnesia in the city is ridiculous,and largely goes un-noticed
tho tues names are one offs to get a test with out people knowing the real name/makeup,diffrent to having 4-5 diffrent amnesia on the same menue by diffrent names

Dont they do the same with Super silver Haze aswell? my mate got some champagne haze that smelt exactly the same as the SSH i had on me

i dont now why people are fucking around, when they get asked to show ID.
it only takes 1 min to take it out and put it away, lol.
and if you dont have your ID on ya you can get a fine by the pigs (cops),90€ i think.

Shame really, as i remember the Maroc Ice back in June 2011 was a real head smasher... Flavour was a bit weird but it really did the job... Think it was 15 Euro for .5g... I'd love to see that again.

amnesia/ssh goes by ALOT of names in amsterdam,but it just diffrent phenos,only problem is alot arent even that different
cheese is a mutant pheno of skunk#1 ,but its a diffrent smell,taste,high,etc
most of the amnesia/ssh phenos are nearly identical,before if a freak pheno was found it was preserved,nowadays too many just renamed with very little difference

OG Kush is excellent weed. Didn't have time to try anything else really. Bought too much crappy weed elsewhere.
Love the new ceiling lights on the refurb. Very cool. A few barstools on the other side of the side tables and a redesign of the table by the counter with a view to space out from the wall and it will all fit nicely. Right now it does not feel 100% right without facing seating on the side tables. I see the space conflict and the knock on job it would take with the central table.

Looks really smart though overall while still retaining character. Nice sketches on the walls. I liked those almost as much as the space invaders on the ceiling lights.
The light in the shop is really well controlled now. It is of a different quality. Maybe this is the biggest overall difference in feel besides the obvious seating changes and it is a huge plus in itself.

today I landed in wonderful amsterdam,

I quickly headed to the central station to check into my hotel: The infamous VOYAGERS

opened the door, was greetet by a smiling HB sittin at the Bud-Bar, checked in, dropped bags at room
and straight back to HB for some killer bud! We chattet a little and he was so kind to give us a grinder. NICE!

now to the bud:

at first we had some fresh Super Bio Lemon Haze: top smoke, top price. nuff said!

then we discovered the OG #18: straight kush smell with more of a sour hint in there, definitly a keeper, caution: insta couchlock

now we chillin in the hotel room and grabbed our selfs some goods:

here is some amnesia going round: pure amnesia goodness, little pepper, little spice, just awesome, and only 9euros

we also rebought the OG #18 since this shit is so wicked haha
