I started a thread a while ago called Take Your Pick. Its now on 227 posts. Im amazed and really pleased its still going

As a fairly new member to acd forum is 227 posts alot? Do many threads make alot more posts than that???

Almost none.

But it's an easy one to nip in and out of, you don't really have to formulate an intellegent response....... I guess that's why I'm in there so much!

Absolutely no doubt that TAKE YOUR PICK is the longest running and most popular topic on this forum and it has the potential to run further.

So many people here with so many likes/dislikes and opinions about one thing or another and it's always handy to know what someone else thinks.

You certainly stuck in your thumb and pulled out a plum with that one mate.

Agreed, it's nice if people put a line or two to explain thier answer, adds to the character forming one has to do here...

I see no end to the thread and hope one day to look back at some of the really old ones... you know in like 5 or 10 years

this has just reminded me of something I tought of the other day... at my wifes work they do a lucky dip at christmas... everybody's name goes into a "hat" and you each pick out a name (they're folded so you don't know who you get)... the name on the piece of paper you pick is the person you buy for... now call me an old woman, but I reckon we should consider something similar and have a gift opening @ 4:20pm on 4/20/07... ? ... obviously not big gifts, just a token gift (few £ / $ / €)

any suggestions ?
