I actually don't like those type of threads because they're more of a web forum gimmick. Take yer pick, 1 word stories, 2 words stories, 1 sentence stories, Yes or no to the question, Pass whatever, Say what ya like but it has to end with..'but then my balls caught fire'. Pick any and over a year you'll pull in over 10,000 replies....I've seen some well beyond 10 times that
I was just wondering???

Oh I love them, they're a great way to pass time on slow days. Especially on themed websites, you can have a good trivia thread that runs for years. Or threads like "post pictures of yourself" or "post pictures of your guitar" or "say something rude about the avatar above you". They're dreadfully fun.

Pay careful attention to where I say slow days. Days were absolutely nothing is happening, and nobody's around to do anything with.
I don't like doing things by myself, even just having a walk, a toke or a sandwich. If there's nobody in the physical space around me, I go online to have people around me in virtual space.
Edit: I realize that sounds a little rude when reading it. That's probably the only thing I don't like about text-chatting, no linguistic intonation.
