Hi all,
Over this period what is the public transport like in both Amsterdam and Holland in general? Ive never been there during this time so I have no idea.
Will it be easy to travel between cities (ie Amsterdam and Rotterdam) or is there significant closure of public transport in this time.

Transport in Holland over new years (30Dec - 4Jan)
I know the NS (dutch railways) on 31 dec last departure time will be around 20.00hr. They will start again with their night trains around 01.00hr (1 jan) Busse

On 1 jan all public transport will follow sunday's timetable.
Don't worry about travelling around.Only you have to wait a little bit longer, per example normally 4 to 6 bus/train/subway per hour, you only have 2 per hour. Have a great time here in Holland!
