As you may have noticed, the server went down altogether earlier.
I've been exchanging messages with "Slimline" via Skype and it seems that someone had managed to hack their way into the server and set a script running that was bombarding it with requests.
I don't really understand this stuff, databases and maps are my area, not networks.
Anyway, Slimline has been working on it for most of the day and seems to have managed to fix it.
I've already told him that we're all very grateful.
