Anyone ever Been On Telly?

Post by DrGonzo »

I was just asking because ........

..... Wait for it.........

...... I've got an interview to appear on Masterchef Goes Large.

I only filled in the app because it seemed like a good idea when I was a bit stoned on Sunday. Anyway the Beeb (BBC) phoned me up today and did a telephone interview, and then they invited me to the smoke (London) to sample some of my cooking and a short interview. Must have been the photo of me I sent in!

Wierd eh?

Here's a link if anyone's interested :-

Slip in some special herbs mate they will love your cooking and put you through! 8) Infact they'll probably love everything man!

My only claim to fame in recent years was to be filmed by RTL4 in Greenhouse, Amsterdam. They were filming about tourists on smoking holidays. Even that was a while ago now.

I was on the telly when I was at school, our school was chosen as the one to take the kids from the FA school of excellence and one of the saturday morning tv shows did a bit of filming so me and my mates got in on the action kicking a ball against a wall.

We had quite a few future stars at the school from the likes of Andy Cole to Michael Owen, there was a few more that didn't hit the headlines and most of them were big headed dicks but its quite a cool little story to tell.

I've been on tv twice, but just either on the news or local stations, and nothing anyone would notice, Ive only been in those montages they show in between people reporting things.

An interesting sidenote, though, a cousin of mine on my mother's side spends all day every day playing video games; he's appeared on G4TV's Arena Show a couple times, he plays as Jay Dogg.

I once did some filming for deals on wheels, you have to sell your car and they film the process... washing it, the viewings, the test drive... I had a camera stuck (like what glaziers use to pick up large sheets of glass) to the bonnet and I drove about posing... the car was a 1984 Ford Escort Cabriolet... and yes, I was born in Romford, Essex.

My show did'nt get aired simply because I did'nt sell the car... looking back I should have got a mate to buy it, just to make the show.
