Not so keen myself, at least out of a bottle anyway. Draft is not so bad.

I had an interesting convo with an American woman in a Dublin hotel bar a year ago about Bud, or Buttwiper as she insisted on calling it..... the long and short of the convo was that Buttwiper was infact evil as it was republican beer!

Not wanting to start a huge debate about how a beer could be evil I left it at that..... still not sure what it was all about.......

Budweiser is a classic product of the american hype/marketing scene. I hate the stuff myself as it is just poor quality compared to whats available. The marketing here in the states has been soooo intensive and long lasting that it has essentially brainwashed millions of people into thinking it is good and you will be cooler for drinking it.

any of you english guys drink "K" cider it's from England and its about 7% alcohol, it will get you completely smashed and it's cheap $7US(6pk), Budweiser is only $11US(12pk) about a pound and a half more than a 6pk in the UK. Anyone live where the alcohol is regulated? I live in OK, United States and oklahoma's alcohol is regulated to 3.2%, except things that you buy at the liqour store. I go across the state line and go to Texas alcohol is unregulated. Who likes Corona or any other agave beers?

K used to be popular in the early 90's in the UK.

Sweet and strong.... unfortuantely the Alcopop revolution relegated it to an also ran.... Sirrus is a new cider launched along the same lines... although this one comes in large bottles and the pubs stock a special glass.

Corona, Sol.... any of those beers with a lime stuck in the top are cool on a very hot day... very easy to drink.
