We can try it for a while. If it doesn't work out it's very easy to merge them all back together again.

Off Topic gets a bit busy and Twich asked me a while ago whether I could make a couple of the threads in there sticky.
This struck me as a better solution but we'll see how it goes.

Ideally I would have split the forum into sub-forums but this version of the software doesn't allow that.
Incidentally, I tend to think of the whole thing as a forum divided into groups and sections but the official terminology, according to the software writers, is that the groups (Community, etc.) are categories, the sections (FAQ, etc.) are forums and the threads within them are topics.
I was going to have separate sections ("forums") for jokes and games but there didn't seem to be enough threads ("topics") for that so I combined them into Fun and Games.

Post your opinions on the subdivisions here.

oops . . Been posting in the new sections and only just realised it had changed. . Doh. . As there are a few people doing grow diarys we could maybe have a diary section for the growers within the growshop seeds section ofthe forum? . If that won't load the server too much.
