Just had to cancel my trip... but....

Post by westerkerk »

Just had to cancel my super duper christmas and new year trip to Amsterdam (24th Dec - 5th Jan) due to some family stuff - absolutely gutted. Can't change the flights either so that's £250 down the shitter! Luckily the guy who owns the apartment was really understanding.

I have booked for Jan though, 25th - 31st. So it's not all doom and gloom i suppose. Still gutted. I've spent a few christmas' in the dam over the years but never for so long.

So if anyone is going over Christmas, have a great time and have a great new year.

Anyone about during Jan 25th-31st want to meet up with a total lightweight for a few drinks and smokes, let me know...

Awww that really sucks, bad time of the year to be out of pocket, but sometimes things like that can't be avoided. Hope the family stuff isn't too serious and on the brightside you can still look forward to the Jan trip - I'll miss ya be one week.

Have fun in the freezing cold 8)

Yeah gutted for you mate , is there no way you could pass the tickets over to a friend say , they might have to pay to change the names on them but you might get a bit back to go towards your belated trip , all the best :)
Sending out the good vibes to those that need them right now :-)

The airlines that fly there are low cost airlines and schedule airlines... the ticketing rules for the are none changeable (unless you pay for a flexible ticket - which are fooking loads or money....)

I used to work for one the robbing bastards.... they prey on people and profit on them massively, ( I had a client once on the phone who booked tickets for him and his mates, he got 2 names spelt wrong (only 1 letter in both) had to rebook them.... £400 quid wasted.

KLM wont change anything, they are 'set in stone' so to speak because they were low-cost fares.

Got my Jan flights for £99 anyway so not TOO bad.

I'm from Manc by the way, but judging from your pic of Tevez I doubt we'd get on. S'all I'm saying! :D

It was with British Airways (paying for fooking willie waalsh's 500,000 a year salary...

Fair play to Easyjet, they used to be the same, if they can change it for £25 quid then great stuff (well its still fucking expensive but at least they have changed)

I'm from Salford originally mate, but at the moment I'm living just outside Bolton. I hardly think us reds and you blues deserve to have a rivalry anyway after the poor showing in the last derby eh?

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the January Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=47963

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Enjoy
