60,000 freq. points + $80
I had an un-used over-abundance of points last fall, so I used 60K to take me to the Cup and another 60K for my trip this coming May. And then my freq. point bank account will be dry.

Just bought a return train ticket for 96 Euro.
Hotel reservations at the Tulip Inn Amsterdam Centre for 52 Euro (1 night).
All in all, not so bad...
Happy trails...

Re: How much do you spend getting to A'dam?
£63 return with sleazyjet that's with the stupid £8 fee for using my debit card.. Would have been £12.50 charge for using my credit card!! Worst part is you don't realise at point of booking that there will be a fee to use your card so you end up having to pay it!! That's a snidey tactic like but they are still by far the cheapest up here
If carlsburg made weed it would be northern lights 5x
Re: How much do you spend getting to A'dam?
£44 return via Eurolines coach, leaving next Thursday night London Victoria > Amsterdam.
I normally go via plane with Easyjet, but for this particular weekend (friends birthday) when I looked a few weeks ago cheapest was about £70 but that was from Gatwick/Luton etc so thats at least another £15 to get there and back. They had £100 return from Heathrow which is 30 mins away from my house but by the time we went to book it, it had increased to £130.
But anyway £44 is a bargain. I have done the journey before on road, with friends in a car and its not too bad. Also on the way back will just be sleeping through the night anyway
