hey Bleak are you setting these shots up everytime ? exposure , light , etc or are they point and shoot ? i really dig the in/out of focus shots

Yes, I usually do change the settings for each photo.
First thing, I set the ISO and the white balance according to where I am (indoors, outdoors, bright light, low light etc). Then the aperture and/or the shutter speed. If I'm indoors, with low light and difficult shooting conditions (as in most of these photos) I'll tend to use full manual mode, to squeeze every last bit of performance out of the camera. If I'm walking around the streets, the light levels are changing all the time, and so I'll generally use Aperture priority mode so the camera looks after the shutter speed at least.
Same with focusing - if I'm sitting down taking photos of one object, I'll use manual focus. Walking around, changing conditions, I use auto focus.
