Hotels where non-residents can go for buffet breakfast?

Post by CannaSir »

I'm gonna be staying on the cheap this coming trip but I'd like to find a big hotel in centrum where I can go as a non-resident (cleanly dressed!) and pay for one of those mega buffet breakfasts! I find the regular 3-star hotel fare of boiled egg, a couple of slices of ham and cheese and maybe some spreads to be unsatisfying after a night of hammering the weed!

What I'm talkin about is one o those buffets with, in addition to the cereal and juices, an extensive range of cooked items as well as high quality breads, fruits, cold cuts etc on a help yourself basis! I dont mind paying 25-30 euros for this but I just cant seem to find details online of any hotels offering this!!

Anyone had any good experiences of the kind of buffet I'm talking about?!

NH City Center, and The Mariot both had big buffet spreads open to all.
Both are located beside the entarance to Vondel Park.
They ranged from 16eu - 26eu per person.
The 26eu allowed you full feasting.

The breakfast spread at the Renaissance Amsterdam (centrum) is pretty awesome. I assume it would be open to folks not staying at the hotel but don't know for certain. I don't remember the exact price but it should be in the price range you mentioned for all you can eat...

I think that the Krasnapolsky has a breakfast buffet.

The breakfast buffet at the NH Krasnapolsky is awesome. Pretty sure you can eat there as a non-resident so long as you pay!
