How Do You Pronounce De Dampkring?

Is it pronouned like de dam fring?
Maybe de damf kreeg?
I would like to know how to say it.

I pronounce it De Dampkring........ No help I know.... but being wrong is nothing new to me!

I suppose if u were dutch you would pronounce it like duh dompkring...just a guess.

Whenever we go to the Netherlands, we laugh our asses off about this language.....and you have to know we are from Germany, so the words are at least similar...but the pronounciancion is as crazy as their drug-policy

damp= domp
kring= kring(short k)
der dompkring... makes sense to me, but you need to put on a dutch accent. otherwise you sound like a dumb american trying to pronounce words that they cant. you have to say it like the dutch, or at least make an effort.

the answer is in another thread, something like this. Damp means "vapor" and kring means "mist" the word together means atmosphere, but it can loosley mean "smoke ring" and that is the one the shop uses, thanx to crumblez i think for the answer, and if im wrong thanx to the correct person.

Lol that makes no sense at all, why would we pronounce an A (as in dAmp) as an O? Dutch is crazy but we know our limits.

When trying
to write a pronunciation, from Dutch to English, it can sound like that. The pronunciation of many of the Dutch letters sound different in English; and some Dutch sounds, in speaking, we dont even use in English, so we have to try and write a pronunciation as us non-native Dutch speakers would approximately pronounce it. Does that make any sense? I hope so.
