I agree with most of what you wrote except the above. Fox News has been on a tiff about arresting him for treason and/or assassinating him. Maybe someone should tell them that the US can't touch him because he isn't a US citizen (Australian) and WIKILEAKS is in Sweden.

I'm all for freedom of speech and all that, what I oppose is how damaging this is for the (global) Intelligence community. Sources have been compromised and are probably irreparable, not to mention that some are probably dead.
Gen Hugh Shelton (RET) was recently on The Daily Show and spoke on this subject. Best reasoning yet.

While at it, check this shit from Faux News.

Yer right Ron, a bit of sanctimonious smugness on my part there I think  . I shall take a lesson from it :D.

@Colina, if they hit paypal as well I wont be able to send any donations for the maintenance of ACD, then what?
What a long strange trip it is.

&yes bigger leaks to come, i just hope their not shutdown before then, america has already said the website is illegal, so wont be long before no one except russia &china will allow servers in their countries to host it &even then all it will take is a bit of deal making & theyl be kicked out from there aswell

If the hit paypal I would still be fine! I don't like paypal!!!
I think there are other companies that do the same service.

paypal now release the donations to wikileaks btw:
http://thenextweb.com/media/2010/12/09/ ... aks-funds/

There are several companies in the growing buisness that have been working with paypal for years but suddenly they were kicked out! Or money was not transfered because of the branche they work in!
Why does paypal care about the branch the company works in?
I guess if they knew the acd-fourm, acd would be kicked out too!

Don't be dependent on one company which is influenced by US government!

He was released for geo-political reasons though, so what relevance does this have??
Eh its relevant because of what you say in your post about the UK releasing him ! and it was the Scottish Government that released him everyone is going mental about his release , and what im saying is it was an unsafe conviction in the first place , and he is in a coma at the moment dying so certainly not as you say that he suddenly recovered from life ending cancer !!!
