Like Boner said, and I adopted that same idea. With so much information, comes a futility.

No one can say for certain what is accurate and what is taken out of context. These reports lay witness accoutns of said persons/agencies. Who knows what their agendas are? And why they've allowed the leaks to happen (if not intended).

Are we really gonna get to some truth regarding the number of scandals which have somehow come to the fore, riight now? Damn, I got so many questions, but the answers are really hard to present. For anyone... SO I'll just watch the fucking circus and see how it all pans out!

agree 100% m8, especially with olympics round the corner, to protest within 1mile of houses of parliament youve neede a permit for years now, but i expect theyl roll that out nationwide soon, who knows next we might start forcing certain  'groups' to wear badges so we all know who 'they' are, maybe even start kettling them into certain areas of a city on a more permanent basis, &then who knows, the powers that be, might come up with a more 'final solution'

Yeah *cough, cough* its just the US, right? I think I got vilified on here for suggesting the UK caved like lil bitches to Lybia over the release of that terrorist who suddenly got better from life-ending cancer, but, surprise of the century, Wikileaks seemed to indicate that Kadaffi threatened to cut off contracts and oil so the UK gave up a mass murderer for 'compassionate reasons'. LOL!
Yeah and the Yanks didn't "cave in like lil' bitches" to the Japanese after WWII and NOT try their leaders for war crimes! (Many of them were as culpable as the Nazi's, but the fucking Yanks wanted Japan all for itself. Don't want the Ruskies to get any of "our" Pacific spoils. )

And they did NOT try many of the Nazi scientists becasue they could be of use to the Yanks in their rocket programs and other ventures?
Some of the criticism of the United States by you Euros sometimes amuses me! Its only because we have been the biggest and baddest since 1945 (and that's over). When it was England, France, Belgium, etc's turn to fuck up the world, you all did so splendidly!
You're too modest... The Yanks have fucked up the world far worse than
ANY othe empire before it.. BRAVO!

The way the old empires used to build nations and leave behind inftrastructure is for sissies... The Yanks know you have to carpet bomb the shit out of country (especaiily its citizens) and EXTRACT of its valuable resources before you naplalm them back to the stoneage!

No MERCY... Way to go YANKS!

And hey while we're at it...TERRORISM.. the IRA got the bulk of its funding from the Yanks and it was nearly impossible to extradite IRA terrorists from the USA thanks to the Yank governement..WAy to show your commitment to anti-terrorism, YANKS!

Its true, and not many people seem to know about it. German scientists were "evacuated" to the USA after WW2, to work on the space program. No conspiracy theory!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Paperclip

If they hadn't taken the Nazi rocket technology, the moon landing would have been MUCH later, or never.

Let me remind you the US re-built Europe with US dollars under something called the Marshall Plan. I am sure your warm ass benefited in some way from that. Second, your comment on Empires leaving the world a better place is laughable. When the Belgians left the Congo, they ripped out the fucking phone lines so the new governments could not function, not to mention they trained no civil servants to replace the Belgians. The English, yes they educated a class of civil servants, but often only the 'lighter skinned ones' (see for example India, leaving behind a English-imposed class system on top of the existing historical ones). And the French, don't get me started. Africa was left in the structural disaster it was 100% because of the EUROPEAN EMPIRE structure left behind.

BTW, a large number of the world's problems today in the Middle East and Africa are (Palestine, Iraq, Congo, Morocco, etc) can be directly tied back to arbitrary and poorly planned national borders, imposed by Europeans on areas that never had countries or borders to begin with.

As for war crimes in Japan, there were trials. Also, the US kept Japan for 'itself' was the US defeated Japan, pretty much alone, along with what what left of the UK forces not over-run by Japan. The USSR declared war on Japan on August 8th, 1945, Japan surrendered on the 14th. Are you suggesting they deserved an occupation zone?

As for the Nuremberg, trials, they would not have happened without the pressure and dedication of Americans, none of the other allies had a stomach for it.

The US did use former German scientists in the rocket program, big fucking deal. The alternative was to kill them (most were not active Nazis) or let the USSR take them. Please refer to me Nazi scientists that were active in the Holocaust.

As for Irish terrorism, the sad fact is that it was IRISH-Americans who funded the IRA and had control over the Congress. All a big tragedy, but seriously, take a bit of responsibility. The USA had nothing to do with starting or perpetuating the tragedy of the troubles in Ireland.

My point is not to excuse the bad actions of the USA, but to remind some of the Europeans with short memories that the world as it existed in the early 1900s (the beginning of the 'American Century' as its called) was in such a sorry state pretty much due to the greed, racism and imperialism of Europeans.

If you want to debate this, try some facts, and not typical lefty-Euro hysterical arguments, Peace.

Yes, 90% of the EXISTING power structure of the US is directly linked to Europe via their ancestry. And not to the Royals or elites of Europe, but the exiles, religious zealots, destitute and criminals

Word! In 1825 they charged Haiti 17 billion euros (equivalent), for the privilege of not being a French slave colony anymore.

Haiti was paying France the independence dept until 1947!!!

I just wanna declare I've got nothing against "yanks". My problem is with certain elements of the US government, the military industrial complex, and certain US-based corporations. They are committing crimes against humanity on a daily basis, and we deserve to know the truth. So on this basis I support Wikileaks 100%.
