New Members since 7th December 2010

Post by Lemming »

I wondered why I wasn't getting the usual number of emails requesting activation. I've just found that it's because people haven't been getting the usual message instructing them to email for activation. Instead they've just been getting one saying wait for activation so there are probably lots of people out there just waiting.

So, if you're waiting for activation, please email me (lemming@coffeeshop.freeuk.com) and I'll get you activated.

Volunteers Wanted

If anyone has a bit of spare time and would like to help out, please could you trawl through the membership list for the last couple of weeks and pick out the ones that look real rather than spammers and let me know what you find. Thanks.

Lemming,

Has anyone managed to go through new memebr list for you yet? Got an hour or so free tomorrow so could do a couple of pages if you still need the help?

Nobody volunteered so, yes, please do. It was a while ago now though.

The new forum is automatically rejecting spambots and allowing real people straight in. So far it seems to be working well. Fingers crossed.

Just had a look through and all members from beginning of December to today seem to be of good usernames and not a mashup of different letters and numbers and a good 60% have posted at least once.

Thanks for that. Actually, having thought about it, phpBB3 hides disabled memberships so you were only viewing the active ones. Thanks for trying but I think we'll have to leave it. If there's anyone out there waiting for activation they'll have to drop me an email.
