Coffeeshop with Breakfast

Hey all,

I'm coming to Amsterdam next week. I'll be staying in the Bulldog Hotel.
Since I will be reaching in the morning, I'm looking for a nearby coffeeshop that opens in the morning and sells good breakfast.. any suggestions?

Next to wear you are staying is a bulldog bar that sells excellent breakfasts, it isnt a coffee shop but you can smoke weed there and is nice and quiet during morning time. If you want to travel a bit further than next door then you also have barneys up in harlemstratt, this is just like the bulldog setup, you have a coffee shop to buy weed and the restaurant is opposite where you can also smoke weed, food is nice to. Also on harlemstratt is a coffee shop called popeyes, this place sells nice full english breakfasts and the weed is quite nice from there to.

I will check out both Barneys & Popeye as my wife and I will reach the Central Station too early in the morning (around 7:30 am) and the hotel check-in is at 3 pm.. so we have plenty of time that we need to kill during our first day

On the same road as popeyes and barneys is another smoke friendly breakfast place called 'la grotte'. It's cheap and cheerful if u know what I mean... Greasy spoon taste

And when I say cheap I mean cheaper than barneys but still centraal prices

I second La Grotte. I usually but from Dampkring 2 and then head over for a smoke with my meal. It's usually not as crowded as Barney's as well.

The Bulldog has a decent breakfast spread from 8-10 included in your room rate, but you will miss it on your day of arrival.
