Amsterdam April 1-May 12

Post by marley01 »

I have just booked my usual apartment for six weeks in April. I consider myself a bit of an Amsterdam veteran. I first visited in 1990 and over time I manged to visit every other year. However since 2007 I have been ramping up to two or three visits a year. Some visits I have been accompanied by friends and some have been solo.

This next visit will be solo. I would love to meet up with some fellow smokers young or old. My dates are 01 April-12 May.

Will definitely be in contact with you Marley! I will be spending pretty much the whole of April if everything goes as planned in the Dam! We will have to link up for a smoke!

You have been posted on the April and May Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

Hi marley01
I am booked for the month also, April 2nd - May 2nd, so we should be able to arrange a couple of T&Ts over the month...  8)
I fit into the latter of the groups of 'fellow smokers', I'll be enduring my 60th b'day whilst in town. :D 8)
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

Then we should smoke a big one on your big one, Trad! What day is it? I'll be in town starting the 13th and if I'm there for your birthday, I'll roll a nice one for all to share and we'll do it up right.

Trad,

Would very much like too meet up. The coffeeshop scene is so accommodating for all ages which is an aspect of Amsterdam I enjoy. I have no problems mixing with the young folks but it is refreshing to have a conversation and smoke with someone closer to my own age.

Only 83 days, 21 hours and 28 mins. until departure.... :D :D

I'm up for a meeting, I'll be solo for the first two weeks....LittleD is still in for the 16th....so a meet-up would be great. We can set dates/times here.
I will be having a few beers and tokes in the Nes on the 7th. for sure.... :D :D :D :D

In all my visits to Amsterdam I have never set foot in Nes. I have passed it a few times and it has been closed. It does get good reviews and I am up for a drink and a vape. Too many years of ciggs have taken there toll. I discovered the iolite a year ago and have never looked back. Does Nes have a Volcano? Would like to give it a try!

Hi Marley01,
I'll be in Dam from March 30 to April 3, and sure would like to meet you and others there. I am also among the older ones and reached 60, last year. Let's find some old school stuff and have some fun.

I think my first trip to Amsterdam was in the early seventies, so it might be a 40 year jubilee this year. I was impressed at that time seeing weed grow on the decks of the house boats and took some seeds home.

See u in early April!
