Which of these beers would you buy from Albert H?

Post by Dave J »

I've had the link for a couple of years now (posted here I think) and often like looking at it for some reason. But I really like the beer section here http://webwinkel.ah.nl/process?fh_locat ... ules.build

But on that list which beers would you like to try?.

Top of my list would be the 6 pack of Dommelsch for no other reason that having had many a great night in Hill Street Blues (pre beer in cs ban) with a fuckin good joint and a few of these. The rest of the regular mass produced crap no chance.

But beers I like the look of at AH are:

Franziskaner Weissbier
Jillz Sparkling Cider (simply because never noticed cider on sale in Dam before)
De Koninck Amberbier
Hertog Jan Karakter
Hoegaarden Rosé (looks a bit of a womans drink, but so what)
Hertog Jan Grand prestige
Leffe Tripel

Dont know if I'll get about to trying all of those, but are there any musts I might try while I chill at the hotel during crawls?.

Definetly the Hertog Jan Grand Prestige & Leffe Tripel. Hade many a Leffe at 't Nes on my last trip. I'm also a sucker for a cool Jupiler or Amstel, mainly because we don't get them in the US.

Peace,

I only know De Konick, it's a fantastic high alc content brew from Belgium, highly recommended

I buy loads of differant beers whenever I'm in town, AH sell them as single bottles so you dont have to buy a 4/6 pack, I usually go with whatever blondes they have.

Get yourself to De Wildemaan if you like too enjoy a beer they have about 20 on tap and 100's of bottled beer.
